Nice for Perez to get on the scoresheet. Think it might give him some confidence and could start Thursday. Doubt he'll start next few league games. Nearly had an assist for Vardy too. 

 

Set pieces aside, Maddison was good. Lovely ball through. Vardy scores when it matters but can't deny today Maddison has created too with a perfect ball for Vardy to score. 

 

It's a good sign when you're winning and not playing that well. It got a bit slow and laboured halfway through second half and I was crying out for Under or Barnes. They'll 100% play Thursday as they haven't had any minutes today. 

Other positive is Ndidi getting more minutes as well.

Maybe we shouldn't be too over-expectant and we're actually still alright as a club, that sometimes goes through blips. I fear people aren't actually appreciating just how good it is just because they're not getting every single thing they want (wins by 3 goals, every game a clean sheet, every player a 10). I get losing can be frustrating, especially against sides we should win, still think some fans exaggerate when we lose and don't enjoy it as much when we win.

Very lucky against the worst side in the league 

We controlled it. By far the better team than them. We hit the post twice as well as scoring two, away from home.

Breaking news,

Reliable sources confirms that Under seeking his way out from Liecester already.

Looking at BR patience for below average Maddison for 90 minutes against 3.Tier team, he has had enough probably. 

Not convincing, not happy at all

Don’t really know why people are saying we didn’t deserve the win. We weren’t amazing but were definitely the better side and did deserve the win. We were much better than we were against Fulham and Zorya

From watching that, I honestly think Rodgers got it spot on today.

 

yes we’ve got lucky in the end but we were superior to Sheffield United all game. You’ve got remember chris wilder had a game plan but from open play, they never threatened us once in that game. 

 

Maddison and Perez in the first half did what they were supposed to do against Fulham. We hit the bar twice in the first, but because we didn’t put 5 past them, no ones going to be happy 🙄

Evans, Mendy and Perez our best players today. Fuchs showed his age and being asked to play every game. Albrighton works hard but doesn't offer much going forward. Maddison awful. Vardy poor until his goal. Tielemans mixed bag. Justin continues to impress. Subs very odd.

Fair point... but you have to admit that until he scored he was having a ‘mare.

I think a lot of the negative comments in the match thread reflect our collective frustration. We should be playing better than we are and winning these games more comfortably than a 89th minute winner. My blood pressure is taking a pounding and BR seems to be dipping into the pick and mix section to choose his starting line ups on team formation, tactics and substitutions. Putting things into perspective we are third in the league, top of our Europa group and next week the first team are moving into the one of the best football training facilities in the world. :scarf:

Yeah not his best game but he did what he does best in the end. Also was unlucky in the first half when he hit the post.
