Remember seeing him on tv just after we won the league and he was mentioning how brilliant it was. Always struck me what a story it was that people like Shane Warne were talking about it. Can't find the interview anywhere but saw this.

I just cant believe it...Shane Warne taken so early...

His generation(s) of Australien cricketers gave us 10-20 yrs ,Of shear briiliance

Not just himself but  also including 80% of his teammates ,where one word  is where it fits & really does emphasise the whole narrative & meaning of Legend

 

Of  all his kaleidascope of projected characters & career , should Show us all , that our lives thankfully  are not under the aggresive anvil & hammer of despots

like Putin...that we can blossom under the Freedom of movement,free speach, & have no suppression

in our lives expression, dreams & aspirations, even if we only choose

to be Content with just being a foxestalk member....

Just watched the 'Shane' documentary on Amazon and his final words were "I've got no regrets"

He lived with no fear and lived life to the max.

He may have died young but he achieved more in his life than the rest of us on here put together.

R.I.P Shane Warne. Such sad news and really hit me as I listened to him on last week's Sky sports cricket podcast.

 

The best leg spinner ever without doubt.

 

I'm going to miss him as a character, his knowledge of the game and all round persona.
