This England side could change test cricket for years to come. Wonder how long some of the older guys can manage it though - and do they have the ability to play it at such a fast paced way. It's very entertaining for the fans no doubt! 

 

The good thing though is that there's enough of a younger crop of players to sustain it once the older players stop playing or retire or become displaced.

Wouldn't be far off making the argument for them being the most entertaining team Test cricket has ever seen though.

Not sure I've seen that before. 

 

Ebadot bowls to Iyer, hits the stump, bail lifts off ever so slightly and lights up, but doesn't leave the groove or fall off the stump, therefore not out. 

 

I thought it is classed as out as the bail is moved, but can't remember that happening before. 

 

Seen it happen where the ball marginally hits the stump and makes a sound, but not this.

Given he’s in the England squad and the IPL auction, there’s very little reason for him to leave, unlike in the past when players have had to leave to achieve higher honours.

Contract means nothing. Just means we could get some money for him. Once he’s got a taste of it all and the big counties come sniffing, which they will. He’ll be off.

Yeah I can't imagine him staying to be honest, even though if he becomes as good as we all expect he'll rarely play for us anyway.
