The side is crying out for a decent spinner, just need to develop him right, the fact he can bat is a massive bonus.

I think they want to move on from Leach. If Rehan can show variety and bat well he's in. Leach goes for plenty anyway so runs shouldn't count against him.

100% agree, Rehan can be a little more x factor for England which Leech will never be.

 

Leech bowls far to many 4 balls and I also feel we have to buy his wickets with very attacking fields.

 

If Rehan has time on his side to develop into a spinner who take wickets but also go for less once he's settle and has a little more experience.

To be fair it's never easy coming for 3 overs at the end of a long day in the field.

 

Really need one of Duckett, Pope or Root to bat big and take pressure of the middle order.

 

But with Foakes and Rehan in the team the tail isn't as long as the pervious two tests

Yeah well done lads ffs, two fu**ing days. That South African batting line up looks so poor at the moment, especially comparing it to the days of Smith etc.
