Who does Bairstow come back in for?

Incredibly tough one. Two options imo, Bairstow in for Foakes and he keeps, or Bairstow in for Duckett/Crawley and push Brook up to open (which I think he used to do as a youngster).

Personally, I marginally prefer the former, though it's very harsh on Foakes.

You can take the Crawley option out of the equation, the bloke is immovable

I can’t stand Ian Ward. Asking Brook what are the characteristics of the pitch. When did pitches have characteristics?  Absolute idiot.

He really has stole a living.

Well done, Rehan! Sensational stuff!

No doubt Notts or Surrey will have a representative waiting for him in the dressing room with a contract to sign, though. :(

Unfortunately you're probably right. It's a great day for Rehan and us, but his success means he'll move away sooner rather then later. Anyway congratulations to him,18yrs old playing against opposition who eat spinners for breakfast and he gets 7 wickets on debut. Great stuff. Sad we haven't used him more often.

He signed a contract until 2026. Unless a club side is willing to buy him out, he’s going to be a Leicestershire player for at least another few seasons at least, at which point he’ll hopefully be on a central contract.

County clubs aren’t going to be spending up to half a million pounds to buy out a player who won’t be playing much anyway.
