Highest  4th wicket stands…

to get in top 10 another….57 runs..

To get in top. 5. another….95 runs

top of the tree…another….156 runs..

It would be nice, if everything fits in place & this special pairing could smash

all records, while they are in that special place & mood.. tomorrow is only the 2nd day & with weather having a big say, the win might not be on…but a couple of fanciful exciting records maybe..Just aspirations & dreams, though  why not…:scarf:

Worth mentioning that brook is on for becoming the fastest ever player to 1000 runs.

Currently has 800 or so in 7 innings and 9 is the record.

If he doesn't do it in terms of innings, he surely will in terms of balls faced? Strike rate almost exactly 100 at the minute.

The final over we bowled cost us massively.

I love Katharina Brunt, great sports person, and bowler….

but she has a weakness, that has nothing to do with the opposition…

This was a top game & semi final in a world event,

she doesn’t have to work herself up..

But she can lose games by not concentrating on the moment, and looking for

a blame routine within her own team…Those last 2 overs of hers looking glaringly at her teammates, means she isn’t mentally all there to deliver that next ball..

This has happened through her whole career…

Those runs in the last over, for an experienced bowler, was lost us ultimately the game…

That said brilliant SF…
SA, players came to this, SF

We England relied too much on the same players…Young team,so hoping they learn..

Stokes to good a player to keep throwing his wicket away.

Leading by example.  He's not playing to his natural strengths as a cricketer and for the benefit of the team he's moving the innings on.  That, to me anyway, is a sign of true leadership.

Looking at the scores, NZ have made this test go to the final day. Woke up this morning expecting another defeat for them but they've put up a very good total thanks to Williamson and Blundell. I think England will still comfortably win tonight and get it done quick, but nice to see a test reach day 5 lol

I think a lot in the summer and couple in Pakistan did though tbf ?

But yes good recovery from New Zealand to set us a target which I am sure we will aim for in the usual manner!

Be 5 wins overseas in a row for the first time since 1915 potentially.

Saw someone say he averages like 69 against Pakistan scoring 500 odd runs, which highlights how poor he's actually been for the rest of his time.

Also he is a shocking close fielder , lots of straight forward catches shelled which will definitely matter come the  Ashes series . Get rid .( but they won’t)
