I could understand Malan struggling to get in when a top 5 of Roy, Bairstow, Root, Morgan and Stokes were all firing. 

We did (with a little bit of luck) 👀 

Morgan was poor in the last 3/4 years as a player and only stayed due to his captaincy. 

 

Malan could have squeezed himself in more ODIs in that time imo.

With the time left to get the runs, they'd have been banking on Chanderpaul and Brathwaite grinding out for a while.

 

Reifer's on a bit of a roll at the minute so would say it's fairly crucial for them that he carries on in that vein of form.

Entertaining test cricket all round, in all matches so far this week. 

 

India didn't leave many for Aus to chase. Lyon with an 8-fer!

 

SA ripping through West Indies. Big contrast in the scores, pitch must have changed dramatically...?

I don't think you can confidently say Australia will definitely win. Only chance matches go the distance in India is if it rains. It can be entertaining watching wickets all the time but it can't be good for 5-day tests in India long term. 

 

West Indies falling short is pretty typical of them, always seem to be in games until it matters most.

but I am having difficulty with our long tail,that doesn’t wag when called upon..

The last 3 batsman whoever they are,across all formats are not scoring enough..

losing not the problem, but for once bloody wag..I do expect regular 20-30s, and not 5-10s,or not holding one end up….
