You just can't read it can you. No idea if it'll be a slow ball yorker, wide yorker, full toss. Or just a big wide. Who the fvck knows lol

Like it looks absolutely shit for getting wickets any conventional way. 

 

But it was the perfect bowling to stop RCB getting any big overs at the end. Like you say, how on earth are you reading that it could literally be going anywhere lol

I did think when Ireland comfortably got to 400, that I can’t imagine how many Sri Lanka would get on a flat, home track. Truth is they could’ve easily got to 1000 if they wanted to and probably within 200 overs.

Turning it into a t20 competition solves nothing. The problem isn’t the format, it’s that franchising is incompatible with English sporting culture, or at least established English sporting culture (it’s why it works better for the women’s game). It will only get better once they realise that. 
 

If the ECB invested the same money into the blast, you could genuinely make it bigger. It is never going to compete with the IPL, but there’s no reason that the blast can’t be bigger/the same as the big bash and the new South African league.
