Not sure if wickets lost make a difference but don't want to go silly and sky a couple to the fielder early doors.

They don't do they, so no harm just going for it. Even we can't **** it up if we lose a few

What happens if we're tied on 47 and someone finishes it off with a 6, do they use the 53 to work it out?

Yeah. An Indian player in the IPL was interviewed about this the other week. Deliberately only got a single then hit a 6 in that exact scenario.

Got to say, this tournament has been great.

Easy to say after a daft England win, but the associates have added loads to this WC.

4 x groups of 5 teams is so much better than a 10-team league.

I agree, also the fact that the wickets have been a bit more bowler friendly has made the competition much more interesting

The Aussies have already qualified, I'm pretty sure they won't be unhappy to lose to Scotland to ensure England get knocked out

Not looked at how the draw for the super 8s works but Aussies may need to finish in top spot.

Two groups of 4, with pre-alotted placements based on icc rankings before the tournament:

Prior to the tournament, the ICC announced the eight seeded teams for the Super 8 stage based on T20I rankings — Australia, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies. If they advance from the group stage, they will be placed in the pre-determined positions, irrespective of their position in the group stage. If an unseeded team qualifies at the expense of a seeded team, they will directly replace the seeded team in the Super 8 group. No points are carried over from the group stage to the Super 8.

At the moment Group 1 consists of India and Australia,

Group 2 currently has West Indies and South Africa.
