According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Kelechi Iheanacho is starting to become a hot property in the market ahead of the summer transfer window. The 24-year-old Leicester City striker is being courted by the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United. Iheanacho joined Leicester City from Manchester City in the summer of 2017 after failing to establish a foothold in the Citizens’ first-team setup due to the presence of Sergio Aguero. At the King Power Stadium, the Nigerian international did not make the best of starts, but has finally started to grow into a key figure for the former Premier League champions. http://www.thehardtackle.com/news/2021/04/21/transfer-news-arsenal-chelsea-manchester-united-keen-on-kelechi-iheanacho/ When I came most of you left him for dead. He isn't going anywhere is he. especially having JUST signed a new deal.

Imagine his wages would be a stumbling block but he’s lived in England previously and speaks the language, would be great having another Evans like presence at the back as our Jonny has shown signs of fatigue and a few individual errors this season due to our over dependence on him to bring calm to the back line. ....Boateng has a big error in him and i have little faith in him!!! If we need to have three at the back then Vestergaard is an option. He is a steading influence and can be lethal with his long range passing, a much better option.

We lambasted the club for being possibly linked with Lingard, but we could do with him now. We need a steading force at the back as Fofana and Soyuncu are quick and rash at times, we do not need another player in that mould.

Boateng is on about £200k a week with Bayern, doubt he would take a 50% pay cut to join us (as realistically we wouldn't offer more than that) and he would probably want more than a 1 year deal for his last big contract that he could probably get going to one of the dirty dozen clubs Lingard point is moot as Man Utd wouldn't have let him join us anyway Edited 21 April 2021 by moore_94

Bottom line is , no cheap options , Mahrez was a once in a blue moon find and it took him a while to convince me. If we want instant quality we are going to have to pay for it .
