This is irresponsible. Jamie Vardy bold-faced, stone cold, beyond a shadow of a doubt cheated with an outrageous dive to win the penalty off of Rafael after committing one of the clearest fouls you will ever see. Not only did the cheating con the referee into making an incredibly unjust decision, and such decision lead to an unjust result, it arguably ended the premier league career of one of the most earnest and joyful premier league players we have seen in the past 20 years.

Jamie's actions on that day are a blight on the beautiful game, and the fact that the Athletic would praise such behavior is astonishing and makes me second guess the credibility of everything that has ever been written on this site.

He's not bitter.

Christopher must actually be Christine with that level of bitterness after 8 years …..

Listening to Ranger Vs PSV, apparently PSV have only lost 1 in the last 25.

That 1 was us.

European football is so weird man. Tom Lawrence has just scored against PSV while Bodo/Glimt are looking on for progressing in the champions league.

Even if true and we bring Jordon Blackwell into ........ I think that the subsequent Vardy years did more for the beautiful game than anythng Rafeal and Blackwell could have achieved in 20 years at man u

PL30: Leicester's miracle - Where are they now?

What became of the 2015/16 title-winners who wrote themselves into Premier League folklore?

The 2015/16 Premier League season was undoubtedly one of the most memorable in its 30-year history, with Leicester City's triumph one of the greatest sporting underdog stories.

Having narrowly avoiding relegation in 2014/15, the Foxes shocked everyone by becoming champions the following campaign.

But who were the players that wrote themselves into the history books, and where are they now?

Kasper Schmeichel
Following in the footsteps of his famous father Peter Schmeichel, Kasper played a pivotal role in the Foxes' success. The Danish goalkeeper played every single minute of the campaign and kept 14 clean sheets. Schmeichel remained at Leicester for another six seasons, before departing in the summer of 2022 to French club Nice.

Danny Simpson
A product of Manchester United's Academy, Simpson spent five seasons at King Power Stadium, before joining Huddersfield Town in 2019. The right-back is currently plying his trade with Championship side Bristol City.

Wes Morgan
Captain Fantastic, Morgan's leadership was key to Leicester's historic triumph. He remained with the Foxes until he retired from football in 2021, lifting the FA Cup in his final season.

Robert Huth
Huth left Leicester when his contract expired in the summer of 2018. Since hanging up his boots, the German has completed a Master of Science in Sports Directorship degree.

Christian Fuchs
The charismatic Austrian swapped Leicester for a move to Major League Soccer side Charlotte FC in 2021, taking in a loan spell at Charlotte Independence. Outside of football, Fuchs runs a public relations company and a football academy.

Riyad Mahrez
One of the star men in 2015/16, Mahrez departed for Manchester City in the summer of 2018. He has gone on to win a further three Premier League titles and was part of the side who finished runners-up in the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League.

Danny Drinkwater
Another Man Utd Academy graduate, the midfielder found a home at Leicester following several loan spells. However, a transfer to Chelsea in 2017 yielded only 12 Premier League appearances and several loans. Drinkwater is currently a free agent.

N'Golo Kante
Arriving as an unknown quantity from French side Caen in 2015, Kante was a revelation in central midfield during his sole season at Leicester. He joined Chelsea in the summer of 2016 and picked up another Premier League winner's medal, while he has also won the Champions League and FA Cup. He helped France claim the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Marc Albrighton
A terrific servant for Leicester, Albrighton is one of only two players from Claudio Ranieri's 2015/16 starting XI who is still with the club. He was part of the side who reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League a year later and lifted the FA Cup in 2021.

Shinji Okazaki
The perfect foil to Jamie Vardy, the Japanese forward spent four seasons with Leicester before moving to Spain to play for Malaga, Huesca and most recently Cartagena in the second tier. His contract expired this summer.

Jamie Vardy
Vardy's record-breaking campaign earned him the 2015/16 EA SPORTS Player of the Season award, as he memorably scored in 11 successive matches. Seven years on from his heroics, the striker is still going strong as the spearhead of Leicester's attack.

The Guardian

Leicester’s inauspicious start to the season continued as Che Adams stepped off the bench to secure Southampton a comeback victory in style. As second-half introductions go, Adams’s could not have gone much better and only the woodwork prevented the striker from completing a hat-trick in stoppage time as swathes of Leicester supporters headed for the exits.

It proved an inspired substitution by the Southampton manager, Ralph Hasenhüttl. Some slack Leicester defending allowed Adams to cancel out James Maddison’s second-half free-kick but his second goal, the lesser-spotted scissor-kick from James Ward-Prowse’s devious first-time cross, was a thing of beauty.

Daily Telegraph

These are difficult times for Brendan Rodgers and here was further evidence that this season will be his most challenging yet.

Rodgers is yet to make a single outfield signing this summer and dropped Chelsea target Wesley Fofana and Youri Tielemans here, with Leicester then suffering a second successive defeat.

Che Adams, a substitute, scored his first goals since February to earn Southampton a deserved victory and ease the scrutiny on his own manager, Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Daily Mail

Left out of the Leicester team because he was not in the right frame of mind to play, Wesley Fofana watched from the stands as his side showed similar mental fragility to throw away victory against Southampton.

The centre-back, who is so keen to join Chelsea, sat with his partner among the home fans, signing autographs and posing for photos.

Those Leicester supporters who booed their team off will be wondering how many more times they will see him in this stadium.

BBC Sport

Substitute Che Adams scored twice as Southampton came from behind to beat Leicester and get their first Premier League win in nine games.

In-form James Maddison's fantastic free-kick, curled around the wall and into the bottom corner from 25 yards, gave Leicester the lead.

The Saints had barely had a chance before that but the introduction of Adams for Sekou Mara after 59 minutes changed the game.

Sky Sports

Che Adams’ second-half double saw Southampton comeback from a goal down to secure their first win of the Premier League season with a 2-1 victory at Leicester.

Brendan Rodgers, who revealed he left out Wesley Fofana because the defender was not in the right frame of mind amid speculation about a potential move to Chelsea, saw his side take the lead thanks to James Maddison's free-kick in the 54th minute.

However, defensive issues once again cost Leicester as substitute Adams bundled home an equaliser from close range just nine minutes after coming on.

English football badges, ranked - Ranked! All 92 Premier League and Football League club badges | FourFourTwo

Not sure about this is an understatement, don't look at the top 10, it will only make you mad.

Unless they got some non football fans to judge, such a list is pointless as it requires objective judgement. Everyone has a team and therefore a bias. Or am I just overthinking it.
