Get Barnes fit, Justin too, evans back, Maddison and Ricardo some form. Plus signing some quality players too we would be ready . We beat Chelsea twice this season and the rest of the so called top six...

Ur right we are not technically good enough, are players on nearly every occasions lost the ball when put under pressure, yet there players were able to play out from the same pressure .

It’s probably more a question of depth, we’re already looking to make moves in the transfer window by the looks of it so I’m not all concerned. 
 

Give it a good go against Spurs, if it’s enough it’s enough otherwise, we go again next season hopefully with a lot more depth to fit into the squad.

Hopefully Chris Powell will be our inside man, and help us out. Ryan Mason is a rookie coach and honestly we have to win against them and by a big goal margin. We have it in us to do it but it’s whether Rodgers will attack from the first whistle get the first goal early and go for it

Are people really that bothered about top 4 after winning the FA cup? I understand perfectly what it means to make top 4 but honestly after watching Tielemans score that screamer and limbs everywhere moment at Wembley this season is already a huge success. If we have Europa then so be it. You finish where you deserve to.

 

All this talk of this being a defining moment, it was talk that happened last season and lo and behold we are here again, not much has changed. I watched the game last night without a care in the world. We are on a European tour regardless and have the FA cup sitting pretty in the cabinet. Its as if finishing top 4 guarantees a better quality of player etc, It really doesn't, our recruitment is testament to that. 

 

Just go with the flow. If we make top 4 then that is an incredible season. If its Europa its still an incredible season. 

 

For what its worth i think Someone will do us a favour before the end of the season and take points off Liverpool or Chelsea. Personally though, once we made the FA cup final, it was that over anything else for me. Winning that trophy has buried demons and that unwanted record of most finals without winning it.

 

Im not going to let the possibility of missing top 4 ruin an amazing season.

I'm immensely proud of the team, would love a top 4 finish and I'm gutted about last night. The FA Cup win, as a standalone experience, tops everything. I still retain hope. 

 

Hopefully I'm not alone in feeling all those things. It's never black and white.

What the last 2 seasons have taught us is that down the stretch at least 1 of the " elite " sides under performing will go on a run they should have gone on and that we'll never be gifted a top 4 spot.

 

Our squad simply isn't strong enough to not be challenged by that, we've been fighting for the last 3rd of the season with one arm tied behind our backs and yet we've not dropped off that much. This season we've just ticked over well, neither gone on exceptional runs ourself but at the same time nipped any poor form in the bud with a few key results. We average around 1.8-1.9 points a game, this has come down ever so slightly in the last 5-10 games but is it any surprise? We've an out of form Vardy and Maddison, Barnes is injured, Evans has had problems and defensively we go from the sublime to the ridiculous. We've no wingers to call on, our only options off the bench are usually Perez who has had one of the worst seasons I've ever seen from a big money signing.

 

We are still in this, we are progressing but it's not going to be straight forward however well we cope when teams around us don't for large parts of seasons.

Agree but surely the best route to doing that is by having a go at the CL group stage and entering via 3rd spot...as Man U have this season.

There is one other way we can qualify if Liverpool win tonight, and that's to beat Spurs by a bigger scoreline than Liverpool win over Burnley and Palace. If they win tonight and Sunday by a goal, we'd need to beat Spurs 4-0. Unlikely but we know Spurs love a final day implosion.

I’d be less bothered if we’d been chasing the top 4 all season instead of being in it all the way up until the end.

 

That being said:

 

2019/2020 we got 62 points and Europa League

 

2020/2021 we currently have 66 points, FA Cup Trophy and Europa League

 

4 points more with a trophy we’ve never won before and another European Adventure. Even if we slip at the end we’re still maintaining consistency and a bette points total.

 

There’s plenty to be hopeful for and it could get even better with this weekend if results go out way. In short, I’m ready to be hurt again on Sunday!

This. Vardy off the boil for 5 months. Maddison not in fitness/form. Barnes and Justin out since February. Perez, Under not good enough. Mendy, Praet, Hamza limited squad players. Ricardo not the same player since coming back.

 

I think Rodgers is working miracles to have us top 6 and FA Cup winners
