I'm increasingly getting the vibe of the mother of a spoiled adult son who's wife has just left him after he shat the bed AGAIN, lost his job after coming on to the intern who's half his age, and been arrested for drink driving for the third time in six months, and all she can say is he's had a terrible run of bad luck and anybody else in his position would do the same

You put a lot of energy and thought into that analogy. Is there anything you need to get off your chest....

Tories up 8 points in the latest polls (which take in the fuel crisis and food shortages).

Basically it seems win-win for the tories - the worse they do the more votes they get!

That's because the best Starmer can come up with is that the next Bond should be a woman.

"Starmer's followers are driven entirely by factional spite." lol

Good job the hard left don't do any factional spite !!!!! lol

The Tories must love it every time Owen Jones and his ilk open their mouths.

The more it winds up Owen Jones, who I'd never heard of before Corbyn showed up, the more electable Starmer seems.

Doesn't take much to wind him up to be fair.

Labour and Greens both starting to make gains in Blue Wall seats. Tories below Michael Howard levels in the Blue Wall now.

Continuing to show that the demographics of the UK voter is changing and Labour really should just accept the Brexiteering Red Wall has gone and go after the new demographic of voter coming through.

Just seen that Yorkshire police commissioner has said women need to be streetwise when questioned by cops.

So, we're now saying that it's women's fault for doing as coppers say?

Well that's a ringing endorsement of your own officers.

I've seen them say "if you're unsure if he's a police officer call 999". I mean he was actually a police officer surely theyd have just told her he was. Also wouldnr he just have got violent if she tried to call someone? What was she supposed to do? Anyone would done the same.

Lets be honest. Boris is awful, but Starmer and his predecessor have been so inept that they haven't even been able to make in-roads against him in spite of all the cronyism, all the u-turns and all the out right balls ups. The state of politics in this country is laughable. It's atrocious. No-one is offering anything of any substance what-so-ever, people are just voting for the least worst option.
