Too many people saying he should go without putting forward viable replacements. Not names like Graham Potter, why would he leave Brighton to come here? Realistic names, I haven’t got any so I’m keeping quiet.

How is Potter not realistic? We got Rodgers from Celtic who are a far bigger club.

Brighton have just sold their two best players.

I am fairly confident he would want to talk to us given the chance

The guy who sent the WhatsApp message has a lot to answer for. I’ve barely spoken to my kids today in case something happened.

We should go and watch Bert's team play with clappers and boo

'Premier League experience' means fvck all. In terms of managers and players.

Few examples off the top of my head

Rafa Benitez - no PL experience, won the CL with Liverpool

Wenger - no PL experience, serial winner with Arsenal

Mourinho - no PL experience, revolutionised Chelsea

Mancini - no PL experience, won the league with City

Could list hundreds of players that had no PL experience but did very well. Several Leicester players that we've signed from abroad also had no PL experience but went on to do extremely well - Kante, Mahrez to name a couple!

And how many that failed with no Prem experience?

EPL experience is almost meaningless, but that was just confirmation bias.

Mate, I'm shattered, I ain't doing this again tonight. What about Thursday?

Exactly this, I'm BR In / Out, BR this / that, rumours this / that, worn out, can we wait till after the Chelsea match to start again, unless someone has concrete evidence, to present 😂

I mean, all managers had no PL experience at some point. It’s a really dumb argument.

Rodgers wanted out of Celtic because of lack of investment from the board

Brighton are actively backing their manager who previously turned down Spurs

Oh plenty, but it's not a foregone conclusion that having none = automatic failure.

If only we had asked them why there was a lack of investment, could have saved ourselves a lot of time and money :D

Agree, it’s a lazy thing - would like to see a young energetic guy with fresh ideas, hopefully to energise a tired seeming team, don’t care where he is from or where he has managed

Or she.

Sorry to disagree but ANY EPL club is bigger than ANY  scottish club,  for Celtic to play a team like Chelsea or Liverpool  it would be the highlight of the year,  no,  Celtic are top 6 of the championship and nowhere near top half EPL.

Sadly Potter would not consider us atm.

I am very much not Russian or a bot. Live about 2 miles away from the King Power. Also, can't people join a forum and make comments when a new season has started and the team/manager are crap?

Exactly what I'd expect a bot to say 🧐

Welcome Igor.  You can't be any worse than Bert.

Living 2 miles from KP doesn’t mean you can’t be Russian 😂😂

Again - Rodgers was vocal about liking working with a small squad.

He's putting the pressure on for transfers now but when it was important to strengthen he chose not to.

He didn't chose..anything!

Not in his mandate..

Well he was vocal about not wanting any signings.

I also find it very hard to believe that he'd sign a contract where he had no choice over transfers. That would just be silly.
