Go to the Villa forums. The general feeling is Leicester are the problem and not Rodgers. Brand Rodgers still very much exists out there.

That's good news. Hopefully another club home or abroad will be tempted to take him off our hands. If not, when he's sacked, he'll get a new job quickly lessening the compo we have to pay him.

Here's one for you, Nice sack Favre after a poor start to the season and Jim Radcliffe thinks the club need a British coach to compliment the contingent of players that have been signed from the PL.

Brendan to Nice. Oh yes please

Then Favre comes here… 🤦🏻‍♂️

Rogers can be a good manager, his record shows that, but most managers have a shelf-life where they run out of ideas and momentum. Ranieri was the same.

Brendan has long since passed his use by date.

I was reading a little while ago about a manager named Bela Guttman who refused to stay at any club for more than two seasons on the grounds that 'the third season is fatal.'

Won successive European Cups with Benfica, wanted a payrise that wasn't forthcoming and then left them with a curse that they'd never win a European trophy again. That was sixty years ago and the first team hasn't won a thing in Europe since.

something a manager earning 10 mill a year should be addressing. This isn't a new issue as we conceded quite a few goals last season when failing to close players down on the edge of the area

The manager told BBC Radio Leicester: “If you look at the first goal, it’s the third goal in four games from outside the box. You have to press the ball there, you can’t be letting players take a free shot. It takes a deflection, but you have to be really aggressive in those moments to get up and stop the ball.

“We had it against Brentford as well, we had it against Arsenal. You can’t sink back into the box, you’ve got to be up and you’ve got to be brave, and sometimes you have to take that block. In certain moments in the game, we just have to have more desire to stop the ball going in the net.”

...it is more than coachable, the problem is either he hasn't the authority with the players to implement what he wants, or he seeks to remedy the problem by bringing in like-minded players!!!

What does he do in the midweek coaching sessions, once he addresses his players with the problem it should not be happening again. Even if he should delegate a player to come forward and close down the space while someone dovetails into the area he has just left, to retain our defensive structure.

In some ways he's brought this on himself with Congerton and English. Had it all his own way, we've started to fall apart and his staff took the hit.

What I would say though is, I don't see how any change to the control Rodgers has creates an environment that he will  thrive in as he'll be severely pissed off and lost motivation. So we're just going through the motions of a regime the club no longer trust and in which case should find someone new but instead we have to wait for the inevitable, however long that will be.

We're wasting time, he's done for here.

Southampton have done the similar to Hassenhutl. They sacked all his coaching staff in the summer and brought in a whole new set up to support him.

I can only hope we're already tapping up potential replacements because the way this season's gone, we'll sack him at the international break and not appoint anyone til after the Forest game.

Tbf he isn't wrong though is he.

It pains me to say it, but you're correct. However it's not a new thing thats recently started happening or unique to that match, but it's something that he's failing to address week in and week out in training.

I feel the comments were made not from a critical standpoint  with a view to working on them by Rodgers.,but one of his many post match blame shifting exercises.

Just nonsense...Everybody'character can be pushed into sometype of coincidence...

Live is too Short to make up historonics....we just have more so called pundits-Posters who Need that Inside story.und a reason...!!

Its just Another Take on life of Brian.... " yeh but what did the Romans ever so for us"..!

Or für Mis-informed Lynch-mob in old westerns....Building up the Town into hysterics...Then using twisted Simulations & circumstance....

The Thing is You recognise the Good things, but prefer the Poorer version of the turns in his tenure....Everybody has history...But balanced people

See both sides...Name 90% of managers, leaders, decision makers...One can build, twist, coincidence that follow their lives. But perspectives & Not hate, will be the

decision if he is given Time to see if he can turn it...I

My Personal thoughts...At present the Rodgers-Set up, is Massively mis-firing, and how much Time in this "modern Football World " can & should we give him..

I admit, I thought he could ...on the Pitch turn our form around in the new  season.I Believed 4-6pts minimum we could of Set ourselves up...Arsenal & Chelsea were both iffy fixtures...

Strange..!:dunno:  Fofanas injury was that One too many last season, and Now an ungrateful-character-set

Of  that same Fofana, transfer request demands from him,is disrupting all Things internal...

Tielemans was Never an issue, neither he or Rodgers Made it one.

Many other things are just out of context noise...and Collection of the Why Not hang him for that because, this or that fits " our Agenda & rhetoric"

I heard clough did the same at Forest

Five Live again talking about the hit to Rodgers' reputation over everything which confirms that the lack of transfer activity is overshadowing his repeated coaching failings and that the next manager will hopefully not have a reputation to protect and a PR machine whirring behind him.

Thing is... rodgers could well string a few results together... and we'd all love the points.

But that wouldn't change his personality would it?

A man who blames everyone else... the board.... the entitled fans.. and the players. A man who fails to take resonsibility...  who fails to address issues and who abandons players rather than improve thrm.

Even if he got a few wins .... we've all seen his true colours.  He is not the right guy for our club.

Where has he gone out and made these damning statements,in the context

you have taken…Most is just cynical fans lobbing thoughts onto the forum, and then conveniently, using them as facts…!
