Brendan Rodgers

Sure and if the current trajectory is followed we'll end up with 5 points all season.

I've not seen anything to suggest there has been any improvement especially defensively.

'Little chance of survival' was 14/15

As soon as Rodgers is sacked we start climbing the table again. We aren't going down.

Henry Winters write up in the Times this morning pretty spot on

* devoid of ideas and energy

* players operating in isolation

* Evans positioning stopped it being a heavier defeat

* the odd threatening run by Barnes

*Youri looked like an explorer without a map, running around ineffectively

* team is drifting , as is the club

* Leicester need to shake themselves into life

All very true and accurate, but does he actually go so far as to criticise the man responsible for the decline? Or is he another of Rodgers' media buddies?

Nearest he came to criticising Rodgers was saying the team needed new legs and ideas but apart from that no other comment about Rodgers apart from he said that Fofanas statement was not written by Fofana ‘as he’s a good kid’ apparently said on BT

The main problem for me is higher up the food chain ..  if your business was worth 5.4billion a few years ago and is now worth 1.5 then dramatic changes are needed ..  unfortunately the man who had the ability to deal with that situation is no longer there.  It’s easy to keep a successful business ticking along but when the sh1t hits the fan you need proper talented leadership ..  if it is guided by bean counters you are up sh1t street ..

Are we becoming armchair CEOs of Duty Free based businesses now?

And replaced with who? We don’t have the pulling power to go and grab another big manager from elsewhere right now

Plenty of decent managers out of work who can take us forward, just not sure if I trust the club to make the correct appointment.

Ugh. “With the greatest of respect” = **** off to the directors

Admitted we don’t have an identity at the moment. That’s got nothing to do with transfers but everything to do with his coaching and the mentality his leadership breeds.

Club scared to pay to get him and his cronies out, there’s very very dark days ahead if the fraud is allowed to continue. 2 or maybe 3 points after 8 games going into the Forest fixture doesn’t bear thinking about

We don't need a 'big manger' right now. We just need someone who can get enough out of this group of players for us to finish 17th or better this season. People laugh at suggestions of Sean Dyche but he never had a squad of anywhere near this ability at Burnley.

Top spoke about a refresh too - why set such a negative rhetoric 24x7?

This aged fantastically.

The negative rhetoric isn't being set by me. It's being set by Rodgers who continually takes swipes at the club - which I alluded to with my pre-game post and which were borne out by the post-match interviews. For the chairman to have to reassure the supporters of the direction of the club BECAUSE of the manager continually agitating is the negative rhetoric. Not me.

And he's at it again, despite the chairman being explicit about why we aren't signing players. And this from a man who was using the weird metaphor of 'not going to war' with them.

People Laugh because it’s a backwards step.

We don’t have a big guy up top, imagine punting the ball up to Daka or Vardy to win headers all game, and to assume he can just switch up his style is grasping at thin air.

We’re awful, no denying it, but the reality is Rodgers is still the best person for the job right now

Thanks. It is unreal how much of a protected species Rodgers is with the national press. They are so blinkered, like flies caught in his web of self-protective spin.

It would be very different of course if he had performed as he has done over the past year or so for a 'Big Six' club (as it was when he was at Liverpool), but because of who we are, he constantly gets away with it (reading between the lines, the 'Leicester should be grateful to have him' argument still perversely persists). These journos should pay a visit to this forum and see what the fans who have been enduring Rodgers' crap at first hand for so long actually think of him.
