OMG, whats suddenly going to change overnight, and the 8-10 point's miraculously are won. We have been playing this same crap way before the transfer window opened!

Rodger's BS about it unsettling players when it's open, and that will go away now close is total and utter clap trap.

Rodgers will change nothing, as in his warped little mind he is perfect, his management, team selection and tactics are perfect and its everyone else's fault. The mindset of the team and the current malaise is his doing, due to his actions (or in some cases lack off) and his actions alone.

Our problems aren't caused by lack of players, (yes a few more would have been nice, but lets not flog that dead horse) as I truly believe the current squad is good enough, but the problem is how they are being miss managed and utilised on match day.

The unsettled players is because they all want to leave as they see little or no progress under the manager plus they know it’s all about him —-

time will tell as he is a deadman walking but the board have to line up a quality manager - I think it will be a Benitez type but personally would prefer a manager who could take us forward with proper foundations being built like Poch or Frank but not sure they would see us as an attractive option

I've come to the conclusion that Brendan is a Plan A type of guy, both in the long term strategic planning for the team and the tactical plans for the game.

When it comes to matches, Brendan will usually do a pretty good job of setting the team up and understanding the opposition.  This is Plan A.  When something happens that where he really should change things - the shape, the tempo, bring on substitutes, i.e. enact a Plan B, he is seriously lacking.

The same goes for the long term plans for the team.  Objective: Improve the quality of the team.  Plan A:  Buy better players.  If he can't do Plan A, like this summer, then he needs to move to a different approach like motivate the players he has, get them set up better and more organised or coach them to be better.

If Plan A doesn't work, Brendan struggles to grasp any kind of Plan B.  True elite level managers do Plan A and can adapt with Plan B, C or D if they have to.

We can see that Brendan is like a wounded animal right now.  He's short of ideas of how to improve the team if he can't just buy the talent in.  If he's going to stay, he needs to adapt and earn his elite salary.

I’ve been critical of media pals sticking up for him, not willing to ask tough questions of him.

You’ve still got them, Savage, Rio, Sherwood, Sutton (weird as he had a witch-hunt against joke when he first come here, now he’ll not have a bad word said against him), and journo’s, the list goes on.

However I have noticed a shift in certain parts of the media that are coming to terms with the situation, looking at the bigger picture, they’re calling him out, they are asking how much longer he’s got and/or questioning his desire for the job - hopefully more get on board with that way of seeing it.

Brendan’s certainly rattled.

Noticed this too. They're cottoning on to some of his comments after the last couple of games and instead of seeing 'Leicester didn't buy anyone blah blah blah...'. They seem to be 'uncovering' the reasons behind it, and the consequences of it. And with some of Rodgers' comments, they seem so abrasive that it's pricking some other people's ears up. Hopefully the domino effect continues from those that are coming to terms onto those that aren't usually willing to speak out.

A numbers guy on here should work out the exact amount of KP money BR has spent to date on players that don’t get a look in and were a proven failure. (Inc wages etc)

This figure is the elephant in the room and is the reason he shouldn’t and couldn’t be trusted to “rebuild” the squad. His comments on understanding fan’s frustrations are comical too, he’s right though about the frustration.. it’s just he clearly doesn’t understand said frustration lies solely with him.

Not the sort of character to sit and lower expectation?! All he's talked about for the last two years is how we are over a hit achieving and need to lower expectations

Pundits really don't have a clue.
