He’d have them running up old John every morning and wouldn’t have a clue what to do with our training ground. Top would blow a gasket seeing the training ground not being used… Pochettino would be my favorite but I’d take Bielsa too right now.. The point I was making was the foregone conclusion aspect

TMELcfc Posted 5 September 2022 Share Posted 5 September 2022 I'd rather have Gasperini than Bielsa, if it is a brand of exciting football you want - Bielsa's 10 hour day of training would soon upset this lot and would be conceeding more than we are now

Its short sightedness to use severance costs as part of the decision. I agree if it was down to me he would be gone. can only assume they are delaying as they don’t have their man lined up. Brendan seems like a seesaw when handling players expectations. We can't have him coming across as a massive Dickov. Our squad can finish top 10 once we get a win. A win against Villa is crucial and that will create a buzz which we should carry through towards midtable at least.
Mickyblueeyes Posted 5 September 2022 Share Posted 5 September 2022 We are talking about all these candidates. These guys will want money. Biesla, though not my first choice, knows the league and likes a challenge - his career suggests that. He was also on our list a few years ago but unattainable. We just need this **** out. Popular Post The_Rorab Posted 5 September 2022 Popular Post Share Posted 5 September 2022 What I fail to understand is that if we aren't going to get rid before the Villa game at least, what new depths exactly can Rodgers plumb which would make his job untenable that he hasn't already done? Other than inching that bit further from safety towards relegation, what exactly can he do more that proves he's unable to push us forward that he already hasn't if the Brighton debacle wasn't enough???
Claudio Fannieri Posted 5 September 2022 Share Posted 5 September 2022 I am clinging to the hope that the club are negotiating a reduced compo package and mutual consent exit for Brendan rather than sacking him, could explain why some ITK reported he was a goner but it’s yet to materialise to an official announcement.
