Given how badly things have unravelled and how unprofessional Rodgers has been this season that is galling for Top. It maybe that Top is trying to negotiate a severance package. Us normal people would be fired by our Boss with a few months notice and little legal protection, if the same Boss proved you failed to carry out your designated duties to a level deemed reasonable. I suppose it is impossible to include an Alan Sugar Clause. You would think in a Court of Law, Rogers could hardly claim unfair dismissal if the QC was shown the highlights of the Brighton game.
