Amazed that Brighton have given permission so quickly (or maybe it wasn't??) Maybe they feel there's no point in standing in his way, and wouldn't want to anyway, but they're risking a loss of momentum. Praps they have a replacement (or ideas of) lined up already?

Maybe there was a release clause in his contract for a club in the champions league, that Chelsea are willing to pay?

Look at the way Brighton play under Potter, and how we play under Rodgers.  What in Brighton's management over the past couple of years would make anything think they're dumb enough to want him there?

It's more than just a past couple of years, Brighton are setup and ran well. I would only saw that Hyypia has been a disappointment for them.

In the meantime the managerial merry-go-round has started much earlier in the season than usual.

Whilst we won’t be challenging to attract the same type of manager Chelsea are, we will be challenging to attract the same type of manager Brighton and arguably Bournemouth are.

Not to mention a name that people have suggested on here in Marco Rose is the leading candidate for RB Leipzig.

You just know that Rodgers was straight on the blower to his agent to get Brighton's attention.

They've not got enough money to attract him and they're not daft enough to employ the boss of a team they've just whooped 5-2. That would be like buying the defence of a team like Southampton when you've just scored 9 goals against them 🤔

His sub at half time pretty much signaled he had no intent on winning. Did we even have an attack of note in the second half? I don't remember any.

I didn't get it but Barnes was shit anyway.

That used to be us :@

It wouldn't take too much to correct our course but I don't think Top, Whelan and Rudkin are astute enough.

Analytics are the most important focus for clubs trying to bridge the gap, we've not replaced our departing HoA yet - which bodes well for recruiting Rodgers' replacement

Yeah ,we are, who will we be left with to choose from if the "top" don't get on and sack Bodgers damned quick

Chelsea and Bournemouth do not mess about like us it seems.

Hopefully the club doesn't look at the Potter/Chelsea situation and delay sacking Rodgers in the hope that Brighton come in for him and we don't have to fork out his pay-off...

Recruited well. People use to be jealous of what we'd do. Now Brighton get similar plaudits.
