Ok, you've just set out a few of the classic reasons that businesses fail!

1.Delegating too much to the wrong people.

2. Poor communication

3. Poor cash flow due to unknown reasons probably over/poorly timed investment and unforseen events (KP downturn due to covid)

4. Delay/inability to make difficult decisions.

The points you make are valid but if true they do not indicate a good businessman in fact quite the opposite.

Vichai was criticised by many for his swift disposal of Ranieri but his decision was that of a man used to making tough and decisive business decisions, and taken in the best interests of LCFC.

Ps. I can tell you from personal experience that working with a father who is a successful businessman is absolutely no guarantee of the future success of an offspring, in many cases being brought up in a wealthy household has quite the reverse effect.

Oh, I do know that, what I was meaning  is that we don't know exactly if Top is a good businessman but the signs are pointing to him not being due this whole f...ing saga and that is what worries me in regard to the club.

Thanks for your input anyway 👍

£220mil later and we’re bottom.

Didn't say which league we'd be challenging for. National League champions 2027 here we go

We're probably going to beat Villa on Saturday, Gerrard gets sacked, and then Brighton, Villa and Bournemouth basically scoop up any and all of our managerial targets, leaving us going cap in hand to anyone who will come for free in about two games time.

Wishful thinking mate, but would be good if it did happen.

High line only works if you have the players, Man.City have paid hundreds of millions for those players and even then they get caught out time and time again usually relying on the pace of Dias and Walker to bail them out .We do not, do not have those players leaving us open and vulnerable at the back. We have gone from conceding two a match to nearly three and if we do not ditch this idiot system , we are going down.

....the "Highline" worked for us in the last season in the Championship!!!

It worked for us when we affected the great escape and in Rodgers's early seasons here, we camped in the oppositions half. This team is not a lot different from 2 years ago, personnel-wise not much has changed, if you defend from the front, which is effectively what the "Highline" gives you, the backline takes care of itself. Whilst in the oppositions half of the pitch and in numbers, you can win back possession 40 yards from their goal, where Youri is in the same half as Maddison who would be further forward roaming, with options on either side and ahead of him. A High "Tempo high press" will work wonders in this team. If you went through every individual in this team and you will see it suits us fine.

The only drawback to this will be our conditioning, we are not in the best physical shape to maintain playing in that way. As you saw Fofana's inability to make up the gap was down to our poor conditioning, you can see it with the drop-off in our games on 65-70 minutes.

I respect your opinion but you are one of the last of the true believers. It is an idealistic system in an era when pragmatism is making a strong comeback , perfectly illustrated by the resurgence of Real Madrid.

Or we are over training. You usually get the same result. Either way it’s not good and we need people who can train the team for the way we play.

So Potter's verbally agreed to the Chelsea job. Fantasy number 1 ruined.

Time for fantasy number 2.

If we beat Villa they may sack Gerard and in a fit of fevered desperation may actually want Brendan. And Brighton too. Then a bidding war commences.

:fc::fc::fc:

Come on boys. Times are tough but we all want the same thing here. 110% effort against Villa. It's for the greater good.

So looks like he's the boss for another week at least. The question on my mind is the social media black out from the players........is it that they're embarrassed and just wanting to get heads down in training..........OR told the club to go **** themselves when it comes to posting generic shit 'thanks for the support' captions?

In a fit of anger and frustration we will trounce Villa 5-0. Gerard will get sacked and Villa will seek to appoint  Rodgers to which we will reluctantly agree to for a compensation fee of £5m pounds. Everyone is happy and we finish 8th win the FA cup and get into the Europa and then we all laugh at how silly we were early on in this season

Love the story, but who is our manager leading us to 8th and FA Cup glory?

You can't listen or watch live. Some of the stuff said may be either embargoed or off the record, so we just have to rely on whatever the journos tell us was said.

Other clubs do it live or soon after in full

we evidently don’t have the demand or the inclination from the club

if being broadcast then the additional written press session (which may contain embargoed info) is done separately
