Brendan Rodgers

Don't like his denial that the recent poor performances/results haven't been his fault, if at least partly.

As a manager, you should sometimes take a look at yourself and analyse what can you do better personally in order to try and improve certain situations.

BBC has games this weekend postponed but next week still on. In theory if Spurs embarrass us he could go after that.

I don't see any way the club will sack him now before our next game, be it Spurs or Forest. Why would their decision change? It makes sense to most of us to do it, but clearly not the whole board.

Really p***ed looking at the speed of which Chelsea sacked Tuchel and got in Potter so quickly.... whose now got ample time to train with his players, while our board are seen dithering and the club directionless.

Funnily enough, having a massive financial advantage over virtually ever other PL club enables you to get what you want when you want it....

They're probably giving him a few games with Wout Faes at the back to see how it goes.

From the board's perspective they probably dont think they can accurately judge the situation with Rodgers down a key player.

Personally he didn't have any say in the Wout Faes signing, I refuse to believe he is a 'Rodgers signing', everything i've read or seen off him he just doesn't fit the type of player Rodgers likes, saying that Vestergaard was most definitely a 'Rodgers signing' - overruling everyone on it and how he fits into Rodgers style, type of player he looks for, well....he just doesn't.

That's not to say you're wrong on the 2nd point - see how he gets on with him.

I'll be surprised if Rodgers doesn't freeze him out, be just like him on his continuing sabotage efforts for his massive pay off package...

....from the outside looking in, it seems like Top is prepared to give him the full season, there appears to be no concern regarding our position in the league!!!

For a manager to be in such a position that would be described as untenable, and yet a polite indifference is all we see from our owner. What is that Rodger has over him, is it a fear that he could take us to the cleaners and Rodgers will wait till a suitable role becomes available, while he continues to run us down into the ground, or insisting that the entire contract is paid up in full before he goes.

Having Rodgers here sticks in the throat, do any deal needed to get him out. Spread the amount over three years, just do something to prove that you have not given up on this club. We have an enormous amount of quality in this team and coming through the academy, we have a bright future, Rodgers is holding us back.

My thoughts exactly. How much would relegation cost us v the cost of getting Rodgers out though ? It doesn't seem like that penny has dropped. In the meanwhile clubs like Brighton and Bournemouth will take their pick of the available managerial candidates, as we continue to look less and less attractive to a decent one.

Anyone know of any lower league candidates ? because if we are not careful, we will have to go that way.

Not only is there the added upside of a new manager having a mini pre season to get going before the Forest game. There is also the downside to keeping Rodgers in that you potentially disrupt October and what is a very good run of fixtures. Timing is perfect now and I think we'll make the move.
