'We were the better side for most of the game but defensively we made some errors at key times'

Interviewer 'that's been a recurring theme this season hasn't it?'

Rodgers 'yes and its something we're trying hard to address'

Really!!! And yet it happens every week and still that same sack of shit mate of yours is there as defensive coach.

Get the feck gone the clueless pair of yer.

How can a manager who just seen his team get beaten 5-2 away set up his team so open for the next away game.

What was said?

He was asked at the end that this is his worst run as a manager are you feeling the pressure, and he said very much so that he knows the game and that you have to be winning games. And then he was asked how supportive have the board been, and he said whatever happens I have the utmost respect for the owners because they’ve given him great support since he’s been here. That he doesn’t think the score line was reflective but he has to be winning games. And whether he stays or ‘keeps fighting on’ he will have the most respect for the owners

They might wait until after the queens funeral.

Listening to that interview, is a bit of foreshadowing. Assume he’s already had conversations.

You didn’t hear the beIN sports interview then… started banging on about international break and working on set pieces etc.

This is a bloody nightmare that won’t end!

Oh but they've been doing great work in the week apparently. Everything that comes out of this blokes mouth is bullshit!

This says it all.

He is responsible. He was happy to be called an “elite coach” with The FA cup win, and the 5th place finishes. He is responsible now, all of it.

He is finished. Imo, not just here. No top English club would take him now. He’s lost his way massively.

Not a popular opinion but it was never this bad under Puel and he got the boot. Get rid asap.

Not a popular opinion but I thought Puel was on to something. He just did the dirty work to add the possession side to our plays, but he was not going to stop us playing the counter attacks.  Rodgers has no intention whatsoever to play counter attacking football. He is all about slowing down and backwards.

The thing is, if you’re set piece training against non dominant aerial players, you can train all you want, it won’t replicate an actual game.

We lack that player / those players within our team.

We should bring in a few players like Carroll, recall Hirst etc, just for training at this point.
