Your Honour Posted 15 October 2022 Share Posted 15 October 2022 (edited) Still has Tops backing according to Rob Tanners latest tweet. What on earth would it take for him to get the sack at this point? Edited 15 October 2022 by Your Honour 1

But here’s hoping, eh? ...I came across this today, obviously after the Bournemouth game!!! We have seen speculation regarding his demise which has come and gone, so this will no doubt be another one to the list, but the 10 game theory still makes sense and the Leeds game could be where the club finally makes the decision.
Popular Post Ricey Posted 15 October 2022 Popular Post Share Posted 15 October 2022 Brendan Rodgers time at Leicester according to Brendan Rodgers: - Joined a club just happy to stay in the division. - Finished 5th twice and won the FA Cup. - Failed to strengthen the squad last summer, resulting in an unavoidable tough season and relegation fight. That is not exaggerating. That is the narrative he is spinning every day. No mention of the fact that when he came in the previous manager was sacked for not pushing us towards Europe and the fact our previous finishes were 9th, 9th, 12th and 1st. According to him we were a Bournemouth or Burnley, just happy to survive another year. He’s also glossed over last season when he was allowed big investment in the squad but ultimately ended up crashing out of a terrible EL group and nearly got pulled into a relegation battle. This is largely a squad that finished 5th twice. Yes, ideally, we would have signed a couple more in the summer but it shouldn’t mean that we get overtaken to this extent. If we were 12th now I think people would be understanding, but the fact is we are 19th and on 5 points after 10 matches because of his mismanagement. We are so so far off our best. Spinning this bullshit every single week has made me actively hate the man.
Claudio Fannieri Posted 15 October 2022 Share Posted 15 October 2022 I think the lack of atmosphere will not have gone unnoticed by Top, it was so lifeless on and off the pitch. If that hasn’t made him take note just how bad things are then nothing will. Like @Ric Flairsays today felt different and I too think this could be the final straw

Haven’t read the full article but the tweet doesn’t say he has his backing, just that he doesn’t want to sack him, which is stating the obvious. What makes this any different?
