Brendan Rodgers

Recommended Posts

The past 225 minutes of football have been absolutely horrendous. Nothing will happen and nothing will change though.

He will just moan about not being backed again and everyone will lap it up.

If we get to the summer still somehow being in the PL then we need a complete overhaul, manager included..

I wonder what these players do in training..

keeper to defenders… no movement in front so defenders keep the ball until it’s given away to the opposition..

set pieces ? We see all other teams take corners with invention and trying to be creative..

Us, a ball into the pen box just in the hope we can beat the first man..

we have no identity, no style of play.

plenty of players have regressed under Rodgers too..

too many after match interviews where it seems that the players have gone against BR instructions.. (Arsenal he said he wanted players pressing in the first half, what we got was a Leicester team that stood watching arsenal play football)

The Southampton game is now where our season starts/finishes..

I think it’s championship football for us next season..

Interesting after the Villa and Spurs game, many were questioning all those who were still in the out camp. Now the tide has turned and the sentiment has gone the other way. Regardless of which side you are on, each should have a more consistent longer term view rather than changing after every game.

I do, tbh, yes it’s nice to win games. But there has been no consistency in this department and the style of play is not good enough.

Some good things with the reintroduction of Nacho to the first 11 but on the whole we need a change of manager, Brendan has run his course here. Maybe Top is too sentimental thinking Rodgers will bring about the former days it’s not happening.

It was funny watching the game on bbc last night. They were waxing lyrical about Tomasson and how Blackburn were good due to him. But they kept blaming our players ‘brendan must be fuming with that pass’, when the players had clearly been told to do what they were doing. It’s never Brendan’s fault.

Tbh we are a Premier League club and have players that can’t even pass a ball to a team mate. It’s a disgrace.

Trying to take some positives from yesterday for the bloke.

He’s not going to get sacked in a million years because those above him are incredibly less competent than the man himself, so we may as well get on board with the fact we’ve got at least another 14 games of him.

- Ricardo is back.

- Mendy is in great form, should start every game.
- Kelechi

- Maddison coming back from injury.
- Iversen is no worse than Ward (good saves when it’s too late, proceeded by comical goalkeeping error))

- Kristiansen looks like a great signing

anything else?

The reintroduction of Iheanacho  is only a thing created by Brendan, because he should have been starting since the beginning of last season.

Whatever way you look at it whether its;

- The players are devoid of confidence

- They are not playing for him

- They have given up

- They dont understand or agree with his tactics

He is in charge and needs to sort it out (which he clearly can't), then GO!!!!

This is a perfect time to start giving Kelechi a run in the team.

if it works, he’ll drag us out of trouble (for reference see the end of the 20/21 season)

if it doesn’t, he’s got a lovely scapegoat to use & that’s Brendan’s favourite thing!

Top needs to sack him that’s the only way he goes, he’s not going to walk from his multi million pound contract.

Someone book them flights to La Manga then.

Hopefully he films himself getting rimmed by a lady boy in the summer and Top finally gets rid

In fact could somebody photophobia Brendan's face onto Tom Hoppers and email it to the club? Desperate times

He had too because vardy and Daka have been poor..

BR doesn’t rate Kel..

even the season Kel scored near on 20 goals, it was back to the bench the following season.

Kel has the odd stinker but he always looks to create and go forward.

I’m traumatised by the little ****ing clap he does when we are 2+ goals down, tucks his shoulders in to make his shrimpy frame look even fecking smaller, can we get Wasyl back just to smash him every time he does that?

He’s a little weasel cvnt.

Made the necessary amendments for you:

- Ricardo is back, but looks a long way off any sort of match fitness

- Mendy is in great form, should start every game, but won't because Brendan doesnt rate him.
- Kelechi, will get benched as soon as Brendan can, because he doesn't rate him.

- Maddison coming back from injury, although he hasnt yet and wouldn't be surprised if we dont see him for the Southampton game. Then he will be off in the summer.
- Iversen is no worse than Ward (good saves when it’s too late, proceeded by comical goalkeeping error)), but won't get a look in anyway.

- Kristiansen looks like a great signing, but no doubt is going to fire his agent and be looking for his next move as soon as we are relegated.

Most of the time we are so easy to play against, teams often just walk straight through our midfield leaving the back 4 exposed.

The back 4 looks disjointed, the balance of the side is all wrong. Thanks for the FA cup and 2 European qualifications but I think it's now time to move on.

NO excuses anymore as we have signed players, I don't think he'll be gone before Saturday, but a defeat on Saturday and he might be struggling.

Agree on everything you say and not playing Mendy week in week out is a crime.
