Yes coolhandfox you are the only person clever enough to understand betting markets. My comment about him being bulletproof is in reference to the media putting absolutely no pressure on him, hence no punters putting money on

Popular Post Aleksz Posted 12 March 2023 Popular Post Share Posted 12 March 2023 I can’t get my head around how bullet proof he seems to be with the wider media, pundits and neutral fans not seeing him as a general catastrophe. it’s absolutely bizarre they see him as wide as 15/1 as next to be sacked considering our league position and performances - and I refuse to believe “The Rodgers PR machine” is a thing. Surely they’re not that naive considering they don’t know as much as we do? Totally baffling. It’s almost like we’re being gaslighted into thinking this isn’t as bad as we think it is? Any other manager/club would be getting the pitchforks from the neutrals and media.

Beachyboy Posted 12 March 2023 Share Posted 12 March 2023 This guy trying to reinvent the truth that we were relegation fodder before him. If we really were a Burnley, Norwich, Watford, Bournemouth, he wouldn't be here in the 1st place.

I'd argue they are benefiting the club more doing **** all then Rogers constantly belittling the club.

Popular Post Le Renard Posted 12 March 2023 Popular Post Share Posted 12 March 2023 (edited) Why is it that we supporters can see relegation coming, but the board and the owners have their heads in the sand, as big Nige said 'I think you must be an ostrich. Is your head in the sand? ' I just don't see the mentality and the know-how in this team, it's as if Rodgers wants 11 Joe Allens playing for the club. He has gradually rooted out the old guard, first by praising them, and then he's slowly gotten rid of any voice of dissent. This season if he knew there was going to be a relegation battle on the horizon, then why jettison your pros who've been there and done it before? It's as if Rodgers has got his tentacles well and truly around the club, and he's slowly crushing us. I don't like this team and the house that Rodgers built, it seems to be rotten to the core, I look around and I see other teams mentally up for the fight, but not us, we are the Keystone cops at the back, and if your foundations aren't solid, then you sink. He has to be sacked this week if the club has a chance of avoiding the drop. Edited 12 March 2023 by Le Renard 5

LcFc_Smiv Posted 12 March 2023 Share Posted 12 March 2023 I’ve always been surprised that people have believed he will be sacked on the evening of a game. I guess it’s wishful thinking on our part following a result that the sooner the better. You would like to think when it does happen a load of other things are put in to place before hand which is the club doing its due diligence which may take a little more time than the Saturday night. Hopefully this match is different to previous weeks and come Monday evening he’s gone.
