Brendan Rodgers

Puel stabled us, got rid of some deadwood and bought some good players but could never push us further than mid table. We needed a manager to use the players to push us into Europe and Rodgers was perfect for that.

It's clear Rodgers isn't the manager for a relegation battle though. Ideally we need a manager like Puel now.

Puel would make a great director of football.

Evans has come out and said the team is behind Rodgers fully and he hasn't lost the dressing room. Said he was delighted with how he played against Chelsealol and no doubt we'll be fine at the end of the season. What hope have we got when our team publicly come out and say we're too good to go down after serving up shit performance after shit performance week after week

That confirms it for me, they're obviously playing the "XBox" at Seagrave, and are that addicted to it, they jump on at halftime, during match day, (might explain the second half dips we've been seeing, and dire home performances), it's the only reason they could remotely believe they're playing well, BR obviously allows it hence he hasn't lost the dressing room.

Must be like a male version of "St Trinians" at Seagrave.

I still can't believe some on here still describe Brendan as a 'Really good coach '

Do people watch Leicester and think they're well set up,look fit, look organised, look comfortable on the ball or look threatening?

I'd say , the last 18 months,  we've looked shambolic in defence and have done OK in games due to some talented midfielders and a striker the bags at least 15 a season.

Now Vards is on the decline , those goals have dried up and his potential replacement(s) haven't been man managed very well.

Remember Daka scoring 4 in Europe,  then put on the bench for the following league game

What?

'Brendan Rodgers improves young players' don't ya know.

I just remembered that after the final whistle at Southampton last week, the first song they played over the stadium PA was Buck Rogers by Feeder - think that song title was chosen as a subtle nod towards our opinions towards BR? 😂

It would be good to write a parody of that song but I can't think of a suitable word to replace "Buck"

The sack

Fired

The elbow

The push

The old heave ho

Given his marching orders

Collect your P45

Empty your locker

The axe

The chop

Downsizing

Workforce imbalance correction

I don't care how it's phrased, just make it happen.

Well if he wants back in the starting line up after being on his sick bed for ages he's hardly going to say something along the lines of..

We all think the manager is a total tw@t and can't be bothered with his stupid tactics that clearly don't work hence the sh1t we served up against Chelsea, and if he stays and instructs us to do the same each match then we are going to be relegated come May...

I think he has Brentford to get a win and if not they might pull the trigger over the international break, just a feeling

...did a poster not say that he had to get 4 points from the 3 up and coming games!!!

With the defeat against Chelsea, 4 points needed from the next 2 games then.

This is where rumours give you false hope, perhaps best not to take in too much as fact.

Not opinion - why would be be talking to players about signing for us when he knew we had no money? It's on the record he was negotiating deals, and he said as much in press conferences.

He rated Lookman - there's a piece on Lookman about how Rodgers helped him with his game and how they worked together.

Oh. In that case it must be true then.

Sorry bud. But you lost me at 'he said it in a press conference'...

The club are hardly going to come out and say 'we are skint' just in case we want to sell a player, and the buying team can then hold us to ramsom.

But there is no way you can be 100% sure he was told by the club he's getting a refresh only for them to pull the plug on it that's purely guesswork..

OK here's my guess.  He knew full well it was never going to happen but said it anyway to sow the seed of "well I didn't get the refresh and backing I need to take us forward"  hence his escape excuse is born when it all goes south and the club sacks him..

@Sambiasso where you at, brother?

Give us some good news!

Not heard anything since.

Here till end of season, more of a gamble to sack him than keep him in the clubs eyes.

I think it comes down to money, if we sack him he walks into another job, if we get relegated then we still get a pay out on him....bonkers thinking I know but the club seem adamant to press the self destruct button.

See how we get on a Brentford, another loss and he's got to face the chop imo.

Had a feeling that'd be the case.

Don't get how it's a gamble to sack him at this stage and where we find ourselves.
