I don’t get why people keep parroting this unless it’s to be melodramatic. We aren’t cut adrift at the bottom, it’s incredibly tight and a couple of results will change the mood completely. That’s precisely why it’s not too late with 30 points to play for. If we were 10 points off 17th and there were 10 games left then it would be a fair point, but we aren’t.
