Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 20 November 2021 Share Posted 20 November 2021 He'll need to lose 4 or 5 in a row to get the sack. Hes never lost more than 2 in a row for us. Best bet for all parties is united panic and want him. We'd probably let him go mid season now.
That_Dude Posted 20 November 2021 Share Posted 20 November 2021 Time's up for him I'm afraid. It's not working anymore and we're going backward real fast.

Tielemans won't be hanging around here. Probably lose the likes of Ndidi aswell. As bad as that is looks at the positives aswell. If that happens that's around 200 million to rebuild the team. We need to spend a shit tonne of money to get back to being competitive

N’Didi has an inability to pass a football, that’s why he’s still with us and not at Real Madrid or PSG.

This is sort of where I stand. I want him to do well, the football is awful though.

cityfanlee23 Posted 20 November 2021 Share Posted 20 November 2021 God it really is sad seeing so many of our fans wanting him gone. Can completely understand why, still sad to see, at times BR has made most of us feel like a match made in heaven, where we could produce magic and fight for top 4, how quickly it turned sour. lgfualol Posted 20 November 2021 Share Posted 20 November 2021 (edited) Sad to report that I've had enough now so wouldnt be arsed if he goes. Would love for him to turn it around, but think months of his anti-football has killed off any hope that he will fix this. Need a fresh approach. An Sionnach Posted 20 November 2021 Share Posted 20 November 2021 Cost Top the best part of 30 million to sack him and his team but its not going to happen. There are plenty of weaker teams to face.
Popular Post LcFc_Smiv Posted 20 November 2021 Popular Post Share Posted 20 November 2021 Despite his previous success for us I'd be happy to see him go. I just don't feel any attachment to him as a manager and i don't think that has ever been there. I think his professional approach to this being just a job has its limitations and the passion and desire is massively lacking.

I want him to do well, the football is awful though. It's indefensible. I was notoriously a fan of the Puel project, the football was awful but he was dismantling an ageing and ineffective team that was pretty one dimensional, I wanted him to do well and took me ages to want him to go. BR came in and took over the Puel project and immediately looked like a breath of fresh air (which made me appreciate the role Puel had even more) in the space of a few seasons we went from former premier league winners with an ageing squad to having some of the most exciting young players in Europe in Madders, Soyuncu, Youri, Ndidi etc. We look like we are back to the Puel days but without the excuses of "rebuilding" This team should be doing MUCH better. I almost feel bad, since he's won trophies here, and let's face it, Leicester in the top 6 is hardly normal or to be expected. He's built my hopes up and now they are being crushed
Sly Posted 20 November 2021 Share Posted 20 November 2021 The thing is, he got the plaudits when we were pulling up trees, rightly so as well. He’s got to shoulder the blame for this awful run of form. As I’ve said, I desperately want him to turn this around, as I really Like him as a manager and we’ve gone from strength to strength for the past two seasons. This season has pretty much been a disaster though.
