He reminds of when I turn up to 7 aside after drinking a load at the weekend and struggle to kick the ball. I think you have to give a player a season to bed in when moving up to the Premier league, but he does look like he's getting better, more confident and I think next season will be a key player for them. Fair enough. But I would have expected more from a £20m signing, first season or not. I think Maddison would have got slated had he contributed so little in his first season. I’m glad you aren’t the director of football if that’s how you rate the value of players. We’d comfortably get 10 million minimum and probably a fair bit more too. Hamza's reputation precedes him and his fearsome appearance doesn't help. He is of course much better than some on here make out. Mctominay plays much the same but gets away with it .
