The thought is that Lingard + £30m should be sufficient for Maddison to move the other way. Clubs can ask anything they want, that is true, but in this market place asking £90m (for a player we have been speculating on leaving) is far from a reasonable expectations. The forum topics are hovering around £60 -£70m, the market is somewhat depressed, it is unrealistic for Maddison to be sold for £90m, in this market!!!
