wardyfox86 Posted 19 May 2022 Share Posted 19 May 2022 Imagine spending 100's of millions and having a pitch invasion cos you pipped Burnley and Leeds to 16th
Joe90lcfc Posted 19 May 2022 Share Posted 19 May 2022 Just now, David Hankey said: 8th spot for LCFC then, after Sunday with us winning and Wolves losing at Liverpool. Not so bad considering. That’s the spirit but it’s still not filled me with confidence

Corky Posted 19 May 2022 Share Posted 19 May 2022 You can understand the excitement at Everton, being in the top flight is a novelty to them after 208 consecutive years.

FoxOnWheels Posted 19 May 2022 Share Posted 19 May 2022 If we win Sunday likely we finish 8th which on paper doesn’t look to bad considering how shit the season has actually been and felt

Vacamion Posted 19 May 2022 Share Posted 19 May 2022 Lumping on Everton to win the Premier next year. This is why I live in a cardboard box under a bridge.
Metal Lover Posted 19 May 2022 Share Posted 19 May 2022 Back in the day we used to invade the pitch every last home game, at least they have something to cheer about.

Guest nathan. Posted 19 May 2022 Share Posted 19 May 2022 The 4 points dropped against Everton could have relegated them and put us into europe.
CrispinLA in Texas Posted 19 May 2022 Share Posted 19 May 2022 Mike Dean in charge of VAR at the Everton game..... he's from Merseyside and didn't gave a stonewall red to Iwobi which could have changed the nature of the game
Muzzy_no7 Posted 19 May 2022 Share Posted 19 May 2022 There’s just something really smelly and annoying about Everton surviving. Theyre very unlikeable. All that money spent over the years. Being such an historic club of top flight royalty only to achieve naff all for nearly 40 years. The antics over the last few weeks in games and Lampards arrogant interviews. Richarlison. They have been gifted survival and we talk about rebuilds, the rebuild job up there is huge. I’d fancy them to go down next year but there’s no real quality coming up from the championship so they will get away with it.

Arriba Los Zorros Posted 19 May 2022 Share Posted 19 May 2022 (edited) A real shame Everton stayed up. Of the remaining 2, would much rather Burnley go down... But can't see it. Edited 19 May 2022 by Arriba Los Zorros
ceredigion Posted 19 May 2022 Share Posted 19 May 2022 The pitch invasion was pathetic given that it wasn't their last game of the season. Even if they had lost tonight, it would still have been in their hands. Maybe there should be a tradition started now whereby fans invade the pitch once they are mathematically safe from relegation. So the likes of Man City and Liverpool can have their pick invasions in January and as the teams below them reach safety one by one they can invade the pitch as well. 1
Smashing-Pumpkin Posted 19 May 2022 Share Posted 19 May 2022 Id say Everton finishing 16th is an achievement of sorts with that team. Go through it man by man. Coleman is a grizzled veteran who cant run. Keane is diabolical. The only defender id give praise to is mykolenko who looks like a wholehearted player. Doucoure and Allan are absolute skill-less donkeys. Theyre flanked by bloody demarai gray and andros townsend. Horrendous. Then up top theyve got two absolute donkeys in calvert lewin and rondon. So youre left with pickford and richarlison as theyre only other two semi competent players and maybe gordon the youngster whos never really done anything either anyway
