No context though really with this one. They were in a really bad way when he took over and were sliding even further. He's met his remit for this season, Fair play to him.

Let's hope their great escape doesn't turn into a Premier League title next season, then :P

Burnley have had it is really shite on poor refereeing decisions

We've had Tierney for 5 of the last 12 away games.  Since the farce of Liverpool v Tottenham, the PL will only put him in games where they aren't bothered whether he fouls it up.

In theory Burnley and Leeds have it about the same with Newcastle and Brentford respectively waiting.  But Burnley has GD on their side, and Leeds’ squad is totally decimated by injury and suspension.  I imagine if Bamford is anywhere close to fit they’ll risk him, but even so they’re grossly short-handed.  A win with their available pool of players would be a miracle - their best bet is probably to grind out a draw and hope Burnley chokes it away at home.

A real shame Everton stayed up. Of the remaining 2, would much rather Burnley go down... But can't see it.

It's more a shame that one of two great away days (bonleh ❤️ and Leeds) are going down.... And now that ****ing dive of a place Everton stay up! Everton away is terrible, Leeds was a great atmosphere this year and Burnley in the sun has the cricket next door, few drinks, good view, normally a good game too

Whilst that guy getting floored by Viera is pretty funny, it does feel like it’s only a matter of time before someone gets badly hurt in a pitch invasion. Thousands of emotional blokes under the influence with a partisan divide between two groups is not a good recipe.

The two events at the forest match both look over the line. The headbutt could have done significant damage, and McBurnie stamping on some guy on the floor…

No idea how you stop idiots though, point deductions for teams the next season? Maybe a little harsh, and might not even work.

This is getting out of hand, now. FA and EPL need to make a statement - instant 6 point deduction for any pitch invasion or forfeit a trophy won.

Mark my words - if it carries on, you can kiss safe standing goodbye

Sky/BT aren’t helping by showing pitch invasions as a joyous occasion.
Whenever single invaders come onto the pitch during a game, the cameras focus on something else……..just an idea.

lt may not help, but at least stop making it ‘trendy’.

Anything can happen in one game.  Newcastle is in decent form and they could certainly do Burnley.  Maybe Bamford hobbles off the bench in the 90th minute and scores a worldie in stoppage time to save Leeds.

Everton away isn't terrible. No Liverpool away day is terrible.

Leeds is a good away day, and was great this season, but it's Leeds so fvck it and get them down.

Absolutely love Viera for this.

Not only does he kick to the ground one an actual waste of oxygen. He then turns and faces the other cowards who do this jump/dance to pretend they’re hard but back off as soon as Viera faces them. Like the terminator.

I really hope he doesn’t face any punishment for this.

Personally, if Viera had nutted the little runts face off that would be fine with me.

Club and police need to take responsibility here. This is the 3rd or 4th one this week so didn't take a genius to see this coming.

Surely after watching Billy Sharp get headbutted and need stitches they'd have put a plan in place to get the away team off?

Someone is going to get properly hurt at some point
