Premier League 2021/22 Thread

I always liked Gray and felt he was never given a consistent run for him to show what he can do. Puel was also right and perhaps Benitez is on to something - Gray is better as a striker or playing near the top. He is too one dimensional to play as a winger, but up top he is different. Remember this is what Puel said and now he is doing well at Everton and did similarly in Germany.

Should never had let Gray leave.

Another decent player we've lost over the years because our fans didn't like the player without any reason why.

What it got to do with the fans? Club and players decide who stays and goes!

Pretty sure he left because he was never good enough consistently for us and didn’t want to be a squad player…

He was just never given the chance and he was not deployed properly. Puel was right that he is better more centrally and perhaps as a striker.

The manager didn’t like him either. We didn’t lose him cos of the fans, he went cos the manager didn’t want him. He barely got in a match day squad last season
