Half an inch away from maybe breaking his leg. No foul...

In all seriousness this is where it's annoying that punishments are based on outcome rather than the action itself.

Pogba doing that is much more dangerous than Perez's movement. Yet he will get off Scott free because he didn't endanger the player

Wolves were the better side against us...

Mullered Spurs and Manure...

.. zero points

.. zero goals.

You could argue Spurs could easily have lost each of their games by the odd goal as well.

There hasn't been much difference between their performances yet one team has nine points, and the other zero after 3 games.

Shows how much luck plays a role, and the importance of quality strikers.

What’s the problem?  He goes to block the ball in what he thinks will be a 50/50 and neves nicks it away

if pogba properly caught him then he would have been in trouble - but he didn’t

Xhaka was two footed off the ground - huge difference

And that is entirely what's wrong with the rules. Its beyond ridiculous that the action isn't punishable but the outcome is.

If you’re going to punish every challenge that is a bit wild with no proper contact then you’ll be left with a very stale game …..how do you judge the difference between controlled aggression and uncontrolled?  Cags wouldn’t see the second half of any game !

Id say dont go that way, go the other way. If someone has accidentally injured a player then don't send them off.

That being said, Pogbas was well worthy of a red card, hes gone in with his studs up like an absolute coward

Mike Dean in a nutshell. I say it every time I see him, he's become a cliche of himself. He nitpicks and finds the tiniest of things to blow for, any touching sleeves or collars is spotted like a hawk but then he misses the biggest, game changing incidents. Who the **** reviews him and goes, "yeah good job, well done, have another big game next week". And he does it all in such a bumptious, arrogant way. Another result decoded by Dean rather than the two teams. Only excuses, it happens quickly, contact is minimal and brief, maybe VAR see it as a foul but not a clear and obvious error to miss it....maybe, but come on, time to assess yourself Dean, you're not fit for purpose, you've protected the stitching of shirt sleeves for 90 minutes but a guy has narrowly escaped a horrific leg injury and the only goal of the game shouldn't have been a goal, you swan off home in your smugmobile and put your feet up until your next abomination of a refereeing performance.

Anyone else think Man U got rinsed again by signing Sancho for £73m, he was a wonder in the Bundesliga but is struggling in the EPL, is it that the pace of the leagues are different? I never seen him play before Man U so don't know how good he was.

Mate of mine is a German Dortmund fan who lives in Manchester now and REALLY rates him

He's had less than two games. Let's give him a chance. Looks a good player to me, just not today.

Here's a clip of it, not sure how this wasn't looked at hugely with the things we flag up now

I didn’t watch the game but Pogba has got away with one there. Was there any beef between them during the game? That looks like he has gone in hard trying to win ball and man but his foot is too high and therefore wreckless endangering an opponent. He did make contact with him but luckily for Neves it was a scrape. Was it even reviewed?

Can't see it. They rarely get beaten easily and grind out enough wins to keep them safe.

A bit like Newcastle.

Burnley dont make any signings of note because hardly anyone exists in football that are of Premier League quality AND play to Burnley's style of play.

Out and out wingers who cross to big physical number 9s, defenders with zero ability to build from the back, they dont exist at Premier League level.
