ARTY_FOX Posted 16 December 2021 Share Posted 16 December 2021 VAR this season with penalties alone has been way more infuriating than it ever was with offsides imo some unbelievably disgraceful decisions and in a season where 'they're letting more go'

I could easily be wrong, but all sources I've read seem to imply that there's only a small number of senior squad players affected, with more staff off, but that their fixture has bee cancelled due to the decision to close their training ground, which is something we didn't do, with Seagrave remaining open, in spite of the number of cases among our players. It's been responsible for upholding awful decisions that its supposed to correct and giving terrible decisions like the penalty for Brighton when we played them. It's unbelievable that the worst side of VAR is being ignored.

jerry Posted 16 December 2021 Share Posted 16 December 2021 Rodgers whingeing that Television is forcing the game to go ahead. Well this is what happens when you sell your soul to the devil ! Premier football has not been a sport for a long time just a money making enterprise with everyone's snout in the trough.

Popular Post twister Posted 16 December 2021 Popular Post Share Posted 16 December 2021 (edited) When I commented early in the year about not looking forward to this season I took a lot of abuse, but i meant it with good intentions. It was because of stuff we have seen this year with bias to the big clubs with referees, the hoarding of players causing the gap to grow between the money clubs and the rest Tv runs the game now it dictates everything, lets take BT sport and Sky , premier sports. They dictate everything from how commentators speak to who appears. What do they want , they want united arsenal Chelsea city liver pool and maybe spurs on there euro pen coverage every week- forever really. Just look at Arsenals penalty last night as a example, just ridiculous. They don't want you west hams and Leicester's in those tv board rooms in Europe. They want to sell certain brands and players aka ronaldo in a closed shop. The rest of the pyramid is told to be supporting acts to this money maker. The problem is the rest of the league bottled it when the ESL stuff happened and now there paying for it.- they should of done a la liga there and then and punished them. Finally its interesting Rodgers eyes are open at last to this, two years ago Leicester got ****ed over by refs when going for the champions league. RowlattsFox Posted 16 December 2021 Share Posted 16 December 2021 Its only a matter of time before the league is suspended for a couple of weeks at least I reckon. The amount of fixtures is causing the issue because there would be so many games to fit in somewhere.

Suspend this weekend and possibly Boxing Day (not ideal I know) and hopefully crack on after that.

Leicesterpool Posted 16 December 2021 Share Posted 16 December 2021 (edited) Thomas Frank calling for premier league to be cancelled this weekend and the week ahead. Funny thing is when these games are rescheduled later, the managers moan about the limited time playing these games. Just cannot win. I think under the current circumstances if you get your game on if you can play than have fixture pile up. Maybe Thomas just wants a week off for Christmas.
