It’s obvious that in the Everton boardroom, ‘he who pays the piper calls the tune’ …….

surely they could have found someone who hadn’t been successful at their Merseyside neighbours …….

Roy Hodgson’s out of work lol

Thought Nuno had already rejected it?

Why come back into London for urgent talks when you’re going to have to isolate for five days …..

may as well do it on zoom !

suspect he has simply arrived in London after a holiday to do his new job!  or he went somewhere in Europe to negotiate something.

either way, unless he was in Gibraltar, he will have to isolate!

Rafa will not play the style of football that the Everton fans want or think they deserve. Can’t wait for the crowd to hound him as well!

They've had a year of awful defensive football under Ancelotti. I don't envy them lol

I'd rather watch paint dry then watch a manager pay players millions of pounds a year to do the kind of basic stuff you'd expect from Sunday league players.

Nuno to Spurs makes no sense. Sacked by Wolves, yet then given a bigger job at Spurs?

Its amazing really, and obviously it only makes sense now that every high profile manager has turned them down, because they are effectively skint and a rebuild is off the cards. Levy seems to have reached the point where he just needs to appoint someone, anyone at all, to prove that the club is in any way credible.

At the moment, Spurs are looking more and more like a desperate bloke, looking for a date to take to his ex-partner's wedding, who has reached the point where he's considering bringing an escort!

Actually I think Nuno would be a good fit for where Spurs are right now (and Rafa for Everton too, really) - but obviously for fans they seem like a step down.

He'll do similar job to Ancelotti which is keep them around 10th. But Everton fans will abuse him for that whilst making excuses for Ancelotti.

He wasn’t that well liked. One of my Everton supporting pals said, when they looked genuine top 6 prospects over the winter, they were playing the worst football since the days of Walter Smith.

Cheque book Burnley.

Benitez will make them harder to beat, if not easier on the eye.

Not sure, some of their fans were fed up with Ancelotti and his style of play.

I think their fans are more annoyed at the players.

I’m pretty mind blown about Rafa. Why on earth would they appoint him? The fans made their options felt and they still appointed him? So weird. Surely they could’ve got another manager. Joke of a club who clearly are detached from their fans.
