Ya crazy everybody so fixated on Newcastle but this is the game that mattered to us. Southampton really should’ve got a result few great chances including that header towards the end.

Absolutely, while Newcastle are living rent free is everyone's head Wolves are quietly extending their lead over us in the league to 6 points.

I think the top 7 will remain that way. Wolves are doing well but over the season the likes of Man United, Arsenal and Tottenham will have enough to pull away and West Ham are probably too far ahead.

I know we have to win them but we have 2 games in hand on them which puts us level 🤷‍♂️

Its a fucxking farce the season now

Huge asterix outside Manchester city who deserve there title win

everything else is affected by games called off for no reason

its not acceptable when their are young pros on teams books and on loan

Id call it a disgrace actually

Didn’t know Martinez was a Scottish name

He actually reminds me of Joe Hart. Maybe that's his level.

Been happening for years. "Need to reduce the league, cancel the League Cup, cancel FA Cup replays".

The Premier League needed to show stronger backbone but were too worried about clubs moaning about how they had to play against a first team whilst another had to play against the second/ third team and it's all distorted and unfair or whatever reason they give.

We went through this last week.

Teams play weakened team in cups. That's their prerogative.

Teams haven't cancelled games before - or been allowed to cancel games.

Cups games are one thing, League games are your bread and butter.

It seem #DifferentCompetitionDifferentRules don't allow you to cancel those cup games though, it does allow you to cancel your league game though. Bizarre.

Nahhhhh give him a couple of weeks until they play us again please :trumpet:

Exactly why I wanted us to play them this week just gone. They are shocking and an early goal from us would have turned their fans even more.

He’s generally a pretty good keeper isn’t he ?

So was Joe Hart. I find it hard to believe he's as good as he's made out. Watched villa about 10 times last season and he made about 6 errors leading to goals.

You don't spend two years on loan at Reading if you're world class like they make him out to be. A decent prem keeper I'd say....like hart was.

We'd only cry it off. Again.

Play it in 24 months time and it'll be too soon for us.
