Premier League 2021/22 Thread

It certainly doesn't appear to be a genuine apology.

Why video it in the first place, then.

Also, wouldn't be surprised if the animal had similar situations in that household prior to this incident.

Marcos Alonso who's actually killed someone by drink driving is allowed to continue to play football, but Zouma who kicked a cute cat should be kicked out of West Ham and maybe the premier league.

That was a 11 years ago ( not saying it's right) this video came out yesterday!

You've said it's not a non issue in France but it massively is here.

I don't think anyone has said he should be kicked out the game, but I certainly think he should have been left out tonight. I think things like this should come under bringing the game into disrepute and the league should be able to give a ban for 2 or 3 games. Domestic incidents that might not be necessarily criminal, although admittedly this might, should carry bans if bad enough.

Or sticking by a FB called Danny Sim...

I believe Simpson was punished for his actions by police. I don't think we should have signed him and I never could celebrate him as a player, knowing he was capable of that.

Zuoma is suffering no career punishment for a shocking piece of animal cruelty. I have two cats. I'd never hurt them. Anyone defending him or West Ham don't care about animals.

Also the what-about-isms are stupid

Whatever shit we are going through as a country, I'd much rather live somewhere where the majority want an animal abusers legs broken rather than, say France, where based on posts I've read here, he would be looked at as some sort of hero. I got a pair of kittens over new year, they are so ****ing lovely, I couldn't even contemplate harming them. I've accidentally knocked them when I did know they were there and felt absolutely awful even though they didn't seem to notice much. Zouma is a scumbag.

Totally agree mate. Shows the mentality of some people trying to defend him

When some of our players stepped out of line they were dropped for the game at West Ham, and we suffered the consequences

this decision stinks

I was about to quote similar.

I agreed with Brendan dropping them for that game- although it essentially lost us the 3 points, and UCL qualification (there was other factors for not qualifying- but dropping them added to it). I think it was necessary to teach those players a lesson 100%.

Just shows how desperate Moyes and WHU are for top 4- also highlights the sheer lack of morals from them as a club.

They certainly as a club haven’t read the room very well at all

Of course  Zouma will continue to play! He's a £35m asset. If Tielemans did that you better believe he'd be starting tomorrow, and next week and every week after that. Zouma is in a specialised profession. He's not the weatherman for Channel 4.

Come the revolution, when I appoint my minister for poetic justice, crimes like this will be punished by putting the offender into an enclosure with a more dangerous and larger kind of cat,  Say a lion or a tiger or something.

you clearly didn’t read my previous post - we’ve been there and done that. And we stood up for what’s right
