PGMOL has apologised to Everton.

where is our apology ffs ??

It's a load of shit.

Such a hollow thing to say unless it's followed up with actual change and fewer mistakes.

Oh wait, Chris Kavanagh is referee tonight in our game!

Take him out the limelight ffs.

now they've publicly recognised the error, a repeat of this t shirt line handball will be penalised - if they'd made the same fuss over dawson's goal the other week then everton would have drawn on saturday.  that's what's frustrating - it shouldn't need to happen twice !!

Points per game table for this season is no better reading for us despite having so many games in hand:

Not great, but at least with the games in hand we still have the opportunity to change that ppg figure whereas the teams above us don't.

Also remember that our games in hand include Burnley, Norwich, Everton. I know we've been poor lately but there's a realistic chance we get at least 6 points from those, which would put us level with Brighton in 10th (similar GD) on that table, or even potentially into 9th above Southampton. It's by no means the same as points on the board, but it 'narrows the gap' a bit from simply reading PPG.

With key players (hopefully) coming back in time for a relatively straightforward run-in, we could well start to climb the table if we manage to turn our form around and iron out the simple mistakes which have cost us 7-10 points in our last 5 games.

Probably against a smaller team so their manager and fans will complain they have been treated differently.

Next weekend's schedule (12/13th) is horrendous. 5 matches kicking off at 2pm on Sunday due to this weird fascination with Thursday night matches in the domestic game this season.

We need the fans back! It'll be different from now on!

Similar happens the week after with 4 2pm Sunday games.

Doesn't even need to be the case considering 3 of the games on the 13th involve all teams not in Europe.

If we can beat Leeds on Saturday, all of a sudden the table looks a lot more promising again, especially when you consider our games in hand and the fixtures we have left to play, in particularly at home!

We are miles away from Top 7 and need to pretty much go unbeaten for the rest of the season to get there. 8th would be an achievement given our current position. March is a big month.

The dropped points vs Spurs, Brighton, West Ham and Wolves have scuppered any realistic chance of top 7. All out for the Conference League please.

Assume Jim Ratcliffe will be the buyer? Been trying for years. Bought a French club in the interim but could obviously own both.

Nice transition from Chelsea going from

an oligarch to a petrochemical billionaire lol

Amazing to think that had we got 10 points from those games, as we probably should have, that we would be right in the mix for top 7 at least.

Chills me to the bone that this picture could even exist.

They might want to consider who Putin's financiers are?  Or are they "plants" for propaganda purposes?

Dawson one was way more contentious than the Rodri one.

What I think I’m trying to say is Rodri messed up with little pressure so even though it his his arm did Everton really deserve a peno from that situation. Of course they did because it hit his arm, it would have been a massive slice of luck for them however.

But Dawson handballed the ball into the back of our net in the last minute of the game costing us 2 massive points. I think a lot more should have been made about it, why didn’t we get an apology?
