they could be saved as their relegation rivals are equally dreadful and showing no chance of reversing their form - they do have the players to eke out a couple of wins but Lampard is such a useless appointment

Burnley and Watford just seem to have more in terms of fight and better managers too…

Our trouble is we seem to be totally rubbish against any team where people might expect us to win.

Almost as if the players get overcome with the nerves and pressure (by our standards)

Got Leeds, Everton, Brentford and Burnley to face at home so there is a chance.

Forget the away games.

Liverpool

Man City

Chelsea

I'd take a minus -15 GD from those games!

See Leeds won - annoying but sounds like they had the chances.

Everton lose and a player sent off, Leeds and Watford win, disastrous for Everton now only out of the bottom three on goal difference.

Lampard has bought pants in Deli Ali...he's forgotten how to play football.

Just seeing the decisions, what is VAR doing! Terrible.

Just looked at that Newcastle one properly… thought it was a foul outside but he takes a second bite inside and clear contact is made. Can’t see how that isn’t given

Newcastle were hard done by there. VAR should work by getting two chances to get the decision right. Instead it is being applied as two opportunities to bottle a tough decision. Havertz should have had a red card and not been on the pitch to score the late goal. newcastle should have had a penalty.

Can taste the salt miles away! Surely they know its about game management, if they were the better team then it means fvck all if you lose, Burnley of all teams should know this.

As for Brentford their fortunate run in the first half of the season will keep them up, they'll drop like a stone next season though.

I'm honestly staggered how bad VAR is being used, the longer it's been in place. Just make the decisions and not be afraid to challenge them and question the referee's judgement in doing so. Once they get past that last elephant in the room and see it as a positive to aid the referee's in a breakneck speed sport then the game will be better as a result. Until then us an absolute farce and its starting to bore me.

Look at that farce in our game- it was clear after a couple of looks from one angle it was a handball and his position meant penalty. But no, 15 looks from one bloke, another 10 from the on field ref and eventually it is given. People in the ground are sitting, waiting and only have an idea if they stick the radio on.

It is taking the piss and apparently the sending over of the ref to the screen is purely cosmetic, the decision is already made.
