One of the least impressive collections of forwards we've ever seen in the PL. Between injuries, sub-par play, and tactical nous - there just aren't that many pure strikers left who are worth a damn.

Vardy is one of the last of a dying breed, IMO.

Plenty of decent forwards but lack of decent strikers. The former including Salah, Mane, the 6 or so Man City players who rotate.

With strikers I guess a lot of that is down to the evolution of what is expected from players, perfect example being Harry Kane who assists a a lot more for Spurs in the past few seasons he ever did.

The classic second striker role is probably diminishing faster than the classic number 9 given the most popular 3/1 up front.

As much as people give him stick. Kane is top class, not had his best season though.

Not had his best season but will still end up scoring 15 goals in the league.

Kane is class and that's backed up with his goalscoring record. We're seeing a player who will probably, injury free, end up touching Shearer's 260 PL goals.

That’s the key thing he has to be injury free, he needs another 6 seasons at a average of 14 goals just to get near to Shearer’s record

Harry Kane is not just one of the best goalscorers in the league, hes also one of the most creative players in the league too.

Im not sure there are many players whos all round contribution to their team is as high as Kane's.

He is one of only one or two English players in the FIFA 100 and is undeniably world class. He scores and creates with both feet and is good in the air. Also most importantly he is big and strong. He is not as good as Lewandowski but is comparable with Benzema.

Definitely.. it's the reason why Spurs have won so many trophies while he's been there!

He and Son can't do it all on their own , Erikson leaving was a big loss as well. Kane will not leave Spurs now ,at least not until he is in his thirties. He will probably never win anything in his career but he is a very high class player.

Surely Sterling, James, Walker, Trippier, Rice, Foden, Trent all make that list

There are eight apparently but only three in the top 50 , one of whom is Sancho?. Harry is number 8 which shows how highly he is regarded.

You don’t think it’s overkill?

its business - nothing else - no hidden agendas - its completely transparent .....they keep pushing it because the more top six fans they create, the easier it is for them to continue increasing clicks etc ......    hence more advertising revenue

Clickbait broadcasting isn’t a good enough excuse when they charge customers extortionate subscription fees.

If you're expecting any praise about Arry Kane... to use the words of 10cc...

Ooooo, you'll wait a long time for me!

That's fine , I thoroughly dislike Mahrez but I know he is top class.

Trophies don't define how good a player is.

Spot on. I’m fed up of having to renovate at the end of each contract too. They have you by the short and curlies. Bt the same.
