If Conte stays Spurs are gonna be pushing third next season?

Spurs have history in recent years of winning lots of games by big margins but this season in particular must wonder how they are not winning anything. Perhaps Conte can change that next season. They have been flat  track bullies up to now. I bet their fans would swap 4th place for F A Cup win if you know what I mean

If Courtinho isn't going to sign permanently for Villa in the summer, then wouldn't mind him here, was great in the first half, but could tell he wasn't impressed playing with his rubbish team mates

The problem is wages, he will ask for a lot, doubt we would meet his demands even if we sell tielemans

Yup his wages....but he will go somewhere in the summer, he isn't going back to Barcelona.

Will he except a reduced salary?

Think he'll create so many chances here for Daka and Iheanacho, just like he did today for Ings and Watkins who were somehow have forgotten how to score

Was thinking if Tielemans goes this summer than get Coutinho or Carvalho from Fulham

Who wouldn’t want Coutinho when he plays like he did first half today. As much as we love youri,  is he actually exactly what we need. Ideally you would have someone like tielemans but a bit more athletic (strength and speed) and go from there. Or is KDH already the best replacement and someone more offensive like one of these two is the answer to take us on up a level. Or someone like gallacher?  Can we afford or attract someone like these?  Likely to be an important summer transfer season for us to get right.

That line is drawn from the furthest back defensive player though, not the 2nd furthest back player.

Looks offside to me from that image.

The line is from the goalkeepers foot. The goalkeeper can’t play a forward on side. Mr Morgan needs to learn the rules. :giggle:

Surely he will sign for them though and if he doesn’t because he wants somewhere better then he’s hardly going to join us without Europe.

If Arsenal had suffered the same number of injuries as us from the start of the season, they would be in a relegation fight.  Two players down now and they are turning into Man United.

The goalkeeper can play a forward onside if there is another defender between him and the goal.

The rule is you must have 2 opposition players (that includes the goalkeeper or outfield players) between the attacker and the goal.

In practice, 1 of those players is the goalkeeper the vast majority of the time, but not always (especially if it comes shortly after a set piece with many players in the box and near the goal line).

I appreciate that, but he purposely drew the line at the wrong angle from the goalkeepers foot as the excuse for the offside, therefore he obviously made himself look a bit of an idiot.

Seeing people defend Ronaldo. I think we have a type of football fan now what would defend their club if their owner was personally carrying out the most horrific acts.

Was bang out of order by Ronaldo and it actually looks like he hits the phone at some force.

The bigger insult, Is that as an apology,  he's offered the EVERTON fan a ticket to watch MANCHESTER UNITED at Old Trafford. lol

On the flip side, the kids mum is milking it for all its worth. Making out as if her son has been battered and is now too scared to go to a football match. Scrounging for some money as an apology it would seem.

Just society I think, especially with all the filming that is happening everywhere nowadays.
