That's for my Dad, who attended his first game in 1969, just after our last cup final and was there to witness it.

 

That's for my Gran, who used to bang the tea tray every time we scored on the radio in the late 90s and who loved Tony Cottee to bits.

 

That's for Khun Vichai - the man who started our rise to these heights and saw us acheive the impossible dream.

 

That's for Khun Top, who stuck with us through the darkest days of our club's history.

 

That's for Sheila Kent, the club laundry lady, who passed away earlier this year after 42 years with us.

 

That's for every one of my heroes over the past 15 years as a fan. Ian Hume, Matty Fryatt, Steve Howard, Lloyd Dyer, Bruno Berner, Andy King, David Nugent, Harry Kane (just kidding lol), Gary Taylor God-Damn Fletcher, Esteban Cambiasso, Robert Huth, Marcin Wasilewski.

 

It's for every one of the boys on that pitch today - whether that's the legends like Vardy, Albrighton, Morgan and Schmeichel, or the boys carving their own name in our history books - Tielemans primary amongst them, but also Soyuncu, Thomas, Fofana, Evans, Maddison, Choudhury, Perez, Iheanacho, Castagne, Ndidi.

 

That's for every fan of every club outside the Greedy Six, who still hold the FA Cup in such high regard and appreciate the romance of the domestic trophies.

 

I guess that's for VAR too. Lol, unlucky Ben.

That's for every Leicester City fan - hell, every fan of any team - who has been affected by this horrible pandemic over the past two years. Nothing made me more emotional today than hearing our boys roared on to victory by even a lucky few thousand foxes fans.

 

And finally, that's for everyone in our city who has dreamed of an FA Cup win since our last final in the late 1960s. Our name is now on every domestic league trophy. Except the Johnstones Paint Trophy, or whatever it's called nowadays. F**k you, Rotherham.

What I love? 

 

Getting messages from friends and family in the same vein as when we won the league. People who realise how much it means to me, and us. It's quite humbling.

Fair comment, I just feel the whole occasion got to him a little. His touch his movement and concentration were all off for one reason or another.

There were others too in the first half NDiddi , Soyuncu to name 2 But they sorted their heads out and were immense in the end.

Let's enjoy the occasion the game is over now.

This is not hyperbole, bias or the fact I’ve had 10 beers and absolutely buzzing but we really are the greatest team in the country!

 

I don’t mean in history but I mean right now. Seeing our owner be embraced as he was and lift a major trophy as if he’s our captain whilst other top clubs are rioting to displace theirs just goes to show how lucky we are. On the pitch, off the pitch we’re a beacon on how things should be done 

 

FA Cup Winners and now to secure Champions League football.

 

Enjoy tonight guys and drink this in, we are truly blessed and fortunate to support this magnificent football club

Well done you lot.  What a time it must be to be a Foxes fan.  PL title a few years ago, Champions League football on the horizon again and now an FA cup bagged. 

 

Pity more didn't get to attend in person but I'm sure there'll be some thick coats on and packed beer gardens in Leicester tonight!  Enjoy it and congrats.
