Important to look at things in 2 different ways.

 

As a whole the season has been a great success.

 

Today was absolutely pathetic. Conceded 3 goals in 20 Minutes to an out of form Spurs side with nothing to play for.

An amazing season overall, so annoying to miss out on the CL again but I honestly don't think we've got the dsquad for it over a whole campaign, it should be different next season.

 

Our bench needs massively improving, swap Fuchs, Morgan, Hamza and Perez for Bertrand, Tarks, Soumare and Edouard and we're in a completely different ballpark. In saying that, I do think sticking Amartey on and leaving Ndidi in CM would have been the better decision.If Amartey isn't good enough to come on in a game like today, then why is he at the club? Let's sign a CB who we can count on when needed, pointless shipping Ndidi back to defence all the time.

 

We lost by a single goal today, but we never looked like scoring apart from the two penalties, we weren't really in the game at all, yet we're above them in the table and we were at home.

Fofana injury or not, we were crap in the last 20. A microcosm of the whole season. We collapsed. Villa win makes it worse.

Brilliant season as a whole but if we want to push on we need quality not just players that make up the numbers
