KDH brings energy, commitment etc but he is one-footed and his range of passing is limited.

IMO i don't see him regularly starting in the Premier if we stay up but he would be a decent squad player.

Everyone says he works hard but working hard doesn't make you a good player, he has zero vision, terrible touch, can't shoot, can't pass, always goes because he is so one footed, reminds me of Robbie Savage but Robbie was a better player.

Look at Praet when he came on, so clam and composed on the ball, sorry to say most of our academy players doesn't have a footballing brain

Everyone of our so called Striker specialists have missed guided-chances,and been crap at the wrong time when, either dithering or slow in sending that end telling pass..or converting that chance..

Also for us this season, find a player that hasn’t cost us a goal, through misguided pass,or caught on the ball, they have all took us into that Twighlight zone…

I find it incredible, that posters pick out individual players for specific criticism, where

every single player this season, is burdened with all sorts of gameday baggage..

plus many a top great player have been one-footed.

.I don’t know why some posters try to be clever and point it out. It’s a none relevant

topic.. I could fill the whole forum with those great names..

Just do your own search,

those on FT will find what a poor analyst of the game they are..

Crazy going on about KDH being one footed..

Ive said hes not an attacking midfielder, not that i think hes a bad player. 2 goals and 2 assists all season playing from an advanced midfield role shows this. He is however a fighter who gets stuck in and provides great energy to the team which is why i think hes better suited to playing deeper

For me he gives the ball away too much to risk playing him deeper.

Shape improved when KDH came on but individually he had another stinker.

Underhit passes, poor touch, poor decision making. He also looks far less dynamic and heavier legged getting around the pitch than when he burst into the side, which baffles me more than anything.

His confidence has taken a battering and it shows, but he has shown enough to persevere with as a squad player at premier League level. His lack of technical ability really will limit his ceiling at this level, however.

I think that’s how we should use in this run in. A bundle of energy in the second half to give midfields a headache

Thought this watching him yesterday too. It’s how he got into the side and got his confidence up in the first place. Now he’s been a first team regular though he probably shouldn’t want to settle for that.

I do think he’s definitely worth perceiving with and even when playing badly can make a difference. His poor first touch at the minute is a huge worry. You need a good one at any level, never mind the top one.

And yet doesn't have any effect, even though KDH has been off form for a while he still had a chance to score, and an opportunity to assist through two runs forward. Praet is the master of coasting through games and this even goes unnoticed to alot of fans, he will do nothing to change the way a game is going, everything he does is predictable. I'd rather have someone make mistakes through positive play than always playing safe.

Exactly how I see it.

KDH doesn’t always have the best of games (but this season, who has!?).

It’s how he plays that influences games. Very busy, gets us back on the front foot and makes us look more energetic.

I thought his intro yesterday actually changed the game.

So much energy and aggression in his game off the ball. Does a lot of hard running to support the striker, but just needs to be significantly better in transitions of play when we get possession back. Too often shits himself when slight pressure is applied, needs to be more composed and probably aware of his own positioning and teammates. When he has a bit of space to run into I think his decisions could be better.

There was one moment yesterday where we were attacking, got to the box, and he laid off such a weak ball for the striker and we lost the ball. Needed to be weighted better into the run of the attacker.

Just small things like that, but things that can be improved.

Interestingly he was far from his best but if he had put that chance away he would have been getting praise on here. There is little consistent thinking on here. He is a good player out of form but he is still giving it his best shot. He will sort himself out I am sure.

He's got potential, but for as long as he only uses his left foot, constantly putting himself in danger, and his complete lack of vision of who is around him is continuing to be a problem, he will never be good enough.
I know fans want him to do well because he's young, energetic and hungry, but that does not overshadow the fact he fundamentally lacks the key attributes to be a central midfielder in the premier league.

I'd like to see him played as a CDM personally, where he's not expected to go forwards much, just mop up mistakes, put tackles in then pass the ball forwards. He's not a CM and never will be IMO but happy if he proves me wrong. He's absolutely useless unless he's facing the outside of the pitch, the moment he turns inside he puts the team in trouble more often than not.

Reminds me of Kante how he's in our box making a challenge one minute and then running the ball up to the other teams box 5 seconds later.

First name on the teamaheet for me. What a player.

What a difference a year can make on here eh.

The guy is 25 in a few months. He's a year younger than Tielemans & Barnes, and 2 years younger than Maddison.

He's not a kid. I just don't see how he improves drastically to a top half level player anytime soon.

If only there was another player we had seen go from a no hoper to a world beater from his mid twenties, then it might be worth not writing players off quite so soon in their careers. Oh well I’m sure it never happens.

He’ll only be ever to be able to use his left foot.
