Not a Brendan player, plain and simple.  Doesn’t suit his philosophy.  He’s only playing now because Rodgers is trying to save his job and figures he has no choice but to ride anybody in good form.

I don’t think this is true. Why isn’t he a Brendan player? He’s energetic, he can pass, he presses. Yes he’s a bit raw but he is definitely a Brendan player.

Disagree. BR said from pre season that KDH has been brilliant pre season and will play a part in this season.

Because he didn`t start v Forest? He clearly IS a Brendan player, you can see that by his increasing involvement both domestically and in Europe.

He’s too unpredictable in his positioning.  Rodgers values predictability above all else - he wants to know where players are at all times.  He’s a system guy and players who freelance don’t suit his system.  His decisions reflect this, over sand over.  How long did it take before KDH even got a sniff in a league game?  He’s playing because Rodgers is trying to save his job, but he’ll be relegated to the squad player quicksand if and when BR believes he has more suitable options.

Nonsense. Brendan smiles like a creepy uncle when KDH does well. He almost likes him too much.  Didn’t start him against forest because you need to rotate where you can, and Brendan thought we would beat them just by turning up.

From day 1 of pre season his attitude has just been incredible, if he keeps that he can captain this club in the future.

Felt yesterday he showed more quality on the ball than previous matches, to the point where when Youri goes I’m actually happy with a Ndidi, KDH and Maddison midfield.

Proper Pearson player. No nonsense black boots, normal haircut, little beard, works hard, good technically, actually cares about the club. Future captain for sure and hopefully never leaves.

Pearson would tell him to shave that little beard off though.

He ticks every box for Rodgers young, hungry, workhorse, gets the ball up the field very quick, tough in a tackle, Leicester born and he can actually pass a ball.

Brendan is a huge John McGinn fan KDH is certainly in that mould.

It seems bizarre to be saying this about a player that’s played so few games for us and is still learning his craft, but personally I would give him the armband next season.

On the pitch he really is becoming our driving force, he’s already looking like he can grab a game by the scruff of the neck. This lad is going to win us games on his own, he’s obviously not close to that Gerrard level - but I get real Gerrard vibes when he plays.

...if you heard KDH interview prior to the Forest game, he was buzzing to play as it was Forest and there had not been a fixture for so long!!!

He would have been the last player that should have been omitted from that team, in that game.

If scoring at the KP was such a big milestone for him last night, what would have playing against Forest had done for him.

If he had played and got injured, arguably our most important player at the moment, everyone on here would have the daggers out for BR. We should have beaten Forest with the team he chose. He can't just chose a team based on emotion or the person who screams 'please sir can I play, pretty please'

As I said, Brendan thought the forest match was won by just turning up.
