There seems to be some debate as to whether the poor lad is the next Leicester captain, worthy of a ten year contract and the future of the club or a one legged carthorse who should be in league one.

Football, isn't it?

Its called result disappointment promoting knee jerk reaction. That is not a problem, fans are passionate as they should be. KDH probably won't set the world on fire but consistency and a brilliant work ethic are valuable assets. His game will improve , he knows what he has to work on and he will do it.

Another important cog in the wheel. I’d have KDH in the side every day of the week personally.
ANOTHER injury that’s really impacting on us.

Yes, his off the ball press high up the pitch supporting the striker is much missed!

KDH will be out for longer than expected with a grade 2 glute tear

We miss his energy big time - we can’t press effectively without him - that’s a dreadful indictment on the rest of the team but he and vards are the only players we have who can press without just giving the opposition an easy pass around them.

He's also our best ball carrier when we transition into attack. We're absolutely screwed without KDH and Madders. Literally hopeless.

assuming its a glute tear as reported, any estimates how long this puts a player out for ?

of all the ****ing injuries, only at Leicester :(

This keeps being missed - in the same podcast that KDH said he had the tear, he said he'd be back in a couple of weeks.

The tweet is a bit clickbaity as doesn't give any context.

Given the podcast was recorded a week ago, that would suggest he may be back this or next week. There should be official news tomorrow/Friday from the pre-match press conference.

Brendan Rodgers says that England midfielder James Maddison could make a return for Leicester this weekend: "He's doing very well, so we’re hoping he can be involved in the squad. He's not featured since the West Ham game, before the World Cup.

"Just seeing him on the pitch this week, he’s such a gift as a player. The confidence he gives other players, that’s when you know you've got a great player. Then it’s just a case of picking the right moments to put him in."

Rodgers added that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is also back in training so could return as well, while Dennis Praet is "back and fine" and on Ayoze Perez, Rodgers said "we have to wait and see, but if not this week, then hopefully next."

Good to have him back. Brings some aggression and intensity to the team

I do wonder how a player can come through an academy system and flat out refuse to use their other foot. A few times Saturday he had chances to progress attacks and slowed them down to get on his left. This is a massive failure for both the academy and our elite manager

I agree, it's pretty staggering how he's got to premier league level and is as one-footed as he is.

You can get away with that sort of thing if you're in a wide area, but I can't think of another top CM who was so one-footed.

That said, he definitely makes a huge difference in our side with his pressing and energy, so it was great to have him back on Saturday and hopefully he stays fit for the rest of the season!
