Doesn’t sound a great afternoon for Coalville on and off the pitch

Of course I somehow don't think the trouble that was caused was from the Coalville regulars, just a bunch of idiots who probably just tagged along for the day who seen an opportunity to start a fight. Seems to have got worse in the last year or so all over the country. Of course to their wives and mothers there just little darlings.

This basically. “Supporters” from both clubs though. Not just Coalville

Big congratulations to Coalville getting to the play-off finals, but being in attendance it seems like a massive missed opportunity. Never found themselves in the game, and to miss two penalties in a game of this magnitude is unforgivable really. Seems the occasion got to them.

And whilst there’s an element of the Coalville support with a reputation, I’m pretty sure it was being started in this instance by the P’boro lot. As @Lako42said they had no idea how to host or police it, there was a group of P’boro right next to the Coalville end all game clearly looking to start something and they wasn’t any attempt to shepherd or break them off away. Was a disaster waiting to happen all game.

As a a follower of cville I've got to sat that today was a comple farce.

Pboro don't know how to host a big game.

We were absolutely shite though tbh.

6 ****ing urinals in the whole ground. 😂. Good luck to them if they get some decent sized away followings next year.

Watched the Northern Premier League Premier Division playoff final between Scarborough Athletic and Warrington Town yesterday afternoon, all live streamed on youtube, 2-1 win for Scarborough who return to the level they were at (National League North, but relegated)when the original club went out of business in 2007, quite a lot of teams have flown through the leagues since reforming (Darlington, Hereford, Chester) but it's taken Scarborough 15 years and they've only been at step 3 for a few years. Excellent game as well by the way, disallowed goal, sending off and a Warrington header hitting the bar in injury time!

Hinckley’s big one today, if you can get yourself down Kirkby Road. £6 adults and £2 under 16s so a decent day of football on the cheap and hopefully at least one good result for a Leicestershire team this week!

Hinckley lost that and miss out on promotion. Well done Belper.

Notts County secure their place in the top 7. Almost certainly a home QF against either Grimsby or Chesterfield.

Belper united and Belper town both winning promotion.

Good match today.

Excited(yet again lol) for the playoffs!

Think it’ll be Grimsby H, we win 2-1.

Then Wrexham away, we get horsed.

I’ll go to whatever games there are though and hopefully we can find a way to West Ham!

We didn’t turn up unfortunately, Belper have a core of good players for this level, and in general tall and strong and it exposes a lot of Hinckley’s weaknesses as we’re a good footballing team but very lightweight, we definitely have a rebuilding job if we can keep the core of our team.

Looking at the positives, 811 down yesterday for a sparsely advertised step 6 play off final, which the majority were Hinckley. Should we sort ourselves out and finally get out of step 6 there’s a fanbase there and based on the bumper crowd of 130 that B4668 FC got for their last game of a promotion campaign, it’s there for AFC to capitalise on.

Off to Kidderminster to see the play off semi final against Boston United.

Lived in Boston 88-93 and used to go to their matches which didn’t clash with the City. Went to a few away games as well during that period. Tough game tonight, but fingers crossed.

Stockport back in the football league. York vs Boston play off final in the national league north,  2 ex league teams.

Boston reached the playoffs by winning on the last day and finished 24 points behind Brackley who lost to York in the play offs.  I love the play offs but sometimes I think they just aint fair.
