Just wobbled my head!...

Same answer post wobble..

Maddison is overrated and I'm not hacked whatsoever if he goes and we get Willock as part of the deal.

Joe Willock as a replacement for Maddison is daft. If we are happy pushing for 6th, 7th, 8th. It’s ok but I like a top 4 push.

So, after one source and so much clicks / hype about it has lasted 3 days. No news, clearly not happening imo. Just something to appease the arsenal fans, like always. If foreplay could be associated with football it’s arsenal in the transfer window.

while they're sitting in mid table next season, they will be able to cling on to the fact that Maddison was interested in joining them based on some virgin going by the name of bell tweeting from his mummy's basement.

You've put your finger on it there.

So let me get this right, Arsenil want to give us cash and a player for Maddison.

So as he plays in the same position.

A) They think we are stupid

B) He's a better player and they are stupid

If the answer is A. Any of our fans that think it's a good deal, I personally think should be certified.

Dean Jones of Eurosport sums up Arsenals approach to transfers this summer on this transfer show this morning: Arsenal are trying to figure out what level player they can sign this summer due to their position and are making shed load of enquiries to agents about their players.

Talks about Maddison @ 16:05 and doesn't think there's much in it other that Arsenal are interested along with a lot of other players they're interested in - apparently they've enquired at Sterling and Mahrez as well!

The problem is the media, they’ve built up a narrative about him since the casino England match (where he did nothing wrong) then his designer bag etc. Unfortunately some of our fans are falling for it hook line and sinker. He’s a young man living the dream, and enjoying himself in the process. Nothing wrong whatsoever in that.

He’s suffered with injuries, fitness this past season and the nature of last season won’t have helped him in like it hasn’t helped many others such as Ricardo. Remember before the COVID season he was one of the highest big chance creators in Europe. You can see how much he loves it here with his fa cup celebrations, his greeting on the pitch with Top. Hopefully with a rest, and pre season, we’ll get the best out of him again next season.

As supporters of the club that’s in our best interest to back him as a fully fit and firing Madison is a fantastic player.

If he doesn't get over his injuries it could cripple him as a player and stop him achieving his potential. If he can, he could become a top top player.

When he was almost fully fit this season, he was getting some great numbers and improving nearly every game

I'd also worry about his persistent hip injury and how off-form and unfit he looked after returning. He came back against Man City in early April but still look unfit and rusty by the end of the season.

Rodgers often talks about there being two types of players. Players that enjoy the benefits of being a footballer and players that dedicate everything. I get the impression he's referring to the likes of Chilwell and Maddison for the former.

Can we fully rely on Maddison to be a fit, sharp, focussed and effective number 10 consistently next season? I have my doubts.

If he seen maddison in that way I dont think he would keep picking him? He seems to be on the team sheet even when only half fit.

Maddison a strange one, ability is there. Can’t stay fit for a full season, questions of attitude but in interviews comes across completely different and attitude spot on. My main concern is this hip injury probably only gets worse as he gets older. Maybe best to cash in now.

In his interviews, I sense some ego there, compare it to an interview from say Tielemans who is much more professional and mature.
